Checking in with a loss of 2.5lb this week
:T:T well doneAnd I lost 4lb :j I'm gobsmacked, lol.
And some better news, my doctor tells me all my tests suggest I'm not diabetic, I'm pre diabetic....so if I loose the weight I will loose the pre. Very determined now

:eek:meg, i'd be a bit jittery too, but what a wonderful experience for her!
Mirry - i just use normal oil in a spray bottle instead of frylight, as whatever was in it ruined my cake pans... Maybe that's how it helps you lose weight, no cake :rotfl:.. i sometimes add a bit of water to the oil, you just have to give it a good shake before using.
EE for me today
B - apple, pineapple, yogurt, granola
L - pasta, SW pulled pork, carrot sticks
T - SW chicken tikka, rice, apple & yogurt for pud
S - belvita (11.5)crisps (5)
Really annoyed i had those bevita biscuits, they were in my drawer calling to me, don't even like them!! so i'm over syns for the day and i can't have poppadums/mango chutney for my tea with no syns left
hope everyone's having a better day than me!

This is just part of what I picked up between the co op and the end of day market last week. I've chopped up 10 bags of chips, froze 10 bunches of asparagus, 10 bags of cherries (even tho we got a cherry tree, lol) and 6 boxes of mushrooms.
There's no excuses now:DKindness costs nothing0 -
Hi Beanie I am well thanks, just got the jitters and trying to keep busy as my granddaughter has gone on expedition to Peru for a month and is currently camping out in the jungle  trying hard not to think about it lol.
Blimey, no wonder you are a tad worried.
But your GD is young & resilient & will have a ball.
Think about that accident where the car went off the road last Sunday & they were not found til Wednesday. Woman died yesterday
That was near where my DS goes to uni.

You shouldn't find the sugar and wholemeal at all difficult with SW, so that's excellent news for you. You must feel so relieved:).
Sorry to remind you that cherries (although free and delicious) aren't Speed food. And I always find it strange that baby corn is Speed but bog standard tinned sweetcorn isn't.
How do you do your bags of chips? Are they frozen raw/parboiled/sprayed? Do you cook them just like oven chips? Apologies for all the questions but sometimes (on CBA days:o) I use McCains but I'd much prefer to have my own at the ready.
I listened to Martin :money: give a good explanation of the changes in student fees and maintenance grants today. It was on Radio 5 Live at lunchtime but isn't available yet on podcast. I'm not sure if info on here is up to date. He was recommending encouraging students to borrow the maximum possible as they really would need to earn a very good graduate salary afterwards before they had to pay it all back and even then in sensible instalments. The only exception seemed to be if university was in an area where accommodation costs were sky high when some help from parents/part time job might be needed. Martin's view was that if you've saved up to help your children, the money would be better put to helping with house deposits later. Martin's campaigning for it to be renamed 'graduate contribution' rather than student loan. So unless a student benefits by getting a graduate level of pay (which they wouldn't as say a nurse or a teacher) then they don't pay back much if anything. I'm no George 'We're all in this together' Osborne fan but Martin's explanation did make sense and far less scary.
Sorry that's a bit off topic but it is about belt-tightening I suppose!:rotfl:0
