Thanks Louis Lane for the welcome, this is such a friendly group .
I know what you mean about needing a hair cut, I too am usually very un Organised when it comes to my hair but have recently found myself a fab mobile hairdresser, she came yesterday and gave me a cut and highlights, so that's me sorted for 6 weeks hopefully (just the dreaded greys to contend with).

Well done everyone with the fab weight losses

    STS this morning.
Got to do a meal plan and shopping this afternoon.
J spud and cott cheese for lunch with salad and SW tikka masala with SW chips for tea. Dessert will probably be meringue nest with ff yog and frozen fruit.

Hi Mirry, sounds ok to me. I have 35 g of cereal.
I have lost about 20 lb but it has taken me since 2012. Sometimes I feel disheartened when I hear some folk lose 3 or 4 lb in one go I only average 1 lb. But, as I see it it's like a lb of bacon or lb of lard which then makes me pleased. I put down my menu plans every day on here, I feel that it helps me. Sometimes after all this time I go wrong, but some kind soul always points it out and puts me right. 'Cause I don't go to a class. Just keep plodding like me, and you WILL get there x :D

0.5lb gain for me this week

Have been good all week, apart from Fri where I had a major blip and ended the day on about 30 syns  So annoyed with myself. I have to up the water intake which I'm so bad at lately and up my speed foods so I can get a nice loss next week. I've bought myself a fruit infusion bottle which I'm waiting to arrive, I figured if I jazz my water up a little I might drink more of it and hopefully lose a little bit more.

Although the scales weren't my friend this week, I feel better overall and my clothes fit so much better. It's just ridiculously disheartening jumping on the scales and seeing the numbers go up instead of down.

Hugs to those fellow gainers this week and well done as always to those who've lost and b_e_g for SOTW :T

Have a good day everyone (so chilly here today it feels like autumn)

Thanks wizkid, it's nice to be reassured I'm doing it right.

ATM I'm too upset to eat , my son went to his voluntey group an hour ago and a friend of his collapsed with his heart, he's only 19. He's gone off in a ambulance and we are all waiting for news. His poor family.

Congrats B_E_G on SOTW; hope you start feeling better soon.

Welcome mirry - we're a really friendly bunch on here. Sorry to hear about your son's friend - he's very young to have a heart problem.

Not having such a good week this week, think I'm a bit disheartened after last week - all that Speed food and only lost 0.5lb!

I can't even think what to have for dinner tonight!

Today's not going well, although I haven't eaten loads of junk, so that's a good thing.

Today hasn't gone to plan though as found I hadn't got any bread which was a pain because I'd planned scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast and didn't really fancy anything else so ended up with a plum, an apricot and a pink 'n' white!

Made some WM rolls this morning (weighed them to 60g each - they're tiny, nowhere near as big as shop bought ones!) so had one of those with some scrambled eggs for lunch. No Speed food as didn't fancy any salad today.

Trying to think what to have for dinner tonight - I've got out some mince but not sure what to cook with it yet. Just know I don't fancy spag bol! Will probably end up cooking cottage pie or something like that.

It's WI tomorrow morning so not really expecting a loss as have not stuck to plan as much as usual! Hope things improve for next week and I can get my head back in the right place.

Wiz I think its a great idea to picture a loss in terms of something you can see and handle with me its packs of butter which used to be my downfall, each 0.5lb loss was a pack of butter and now as I have lost 42lbs that's 84 packs gone :rotfl:
