Thanks for adding me to the challenge Shala.
I'm going to be weighing in on a Thursday, as I've stopped going to my group for now. I'll see how I get on for a few weeks, and if it's not too well I'll probably go back at some point!! There's lots of support on here though, which is great.
This weeks loss is 1lb which I'm pleased with.
Well done BEG on being SOW, and congrats to all the other losers and everyone else.New Year New You Challenge - 13.5lbs/10lbs

Thanks, teallach. I've went to a local garage which I've used often before. They should me the results of their diagnostics but they said they couldn't discover the root of the problem. They gave me the results of their diagnostic analysis and advised going to the dealer as fixing was beyond their scope. I went to the dealership and they gave me the same results as the local place, so I have to accept that as accurate. They were able to tell me that the air conditioning clutch (didn't know such a part existed, but I've googled it and it does!) was deceased. They are ordering the part in, so summer will be over by the time I get it fitted, lol.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400

Mirry - pleased to hear your son's friend is ok. I take it he has HOCUM heart (Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy) - I have a friend who was diagnosed with that as a child and he now has a pacemaker implanted. Frightening when they go off for no reason, but it could save his life.
I'm not sure what he has but he was a fine healthy lad until last winter when he got a virus and it ate his heart, he was in a bad way on life support. Then he slowly recovered and he may at some point need a transplant apparently. That's why everyone panicked when he collapsed with heart pain and the devise beeping.....he's doing ok now I'm pleased to say!Kindness costs nothing0 -
Well back from WI and had another 0.5lb loss - the same as when I did the Speed food challenge! Shan't be bothering with that again, seems no point when I can just do a normal week and lose the same.
However, haven't done the shopping yet as left my shopping list at home and didn't want to try to do the shopping without the list as I'd end up buying stuff I don't need! However I had planned to only buy 3 or 4 things in Mr Ts so popped in and got those (well most of them - I forgot the lime cordial I wanted to get as Morries didn't have any the other day!). Managed not to buy anything which wasn't planned from there so happy with that.
Have now got the list in my bag so will be popping out again shortly to Morries to do the rest of the shopping. Need to go to the one in the next town as it's a bigger one and our local one doesn't stock some of the things I want like the 5Kg bags on onions.
Got the new magazine this morning but haven't had a chance to look at yet so that will be this evening's reading sorted!

:hello::hello::hello:
Back from my holidays all tanned and healthy looking!! I feel good but eating (and drinking:o) was completely off plan and I had to pour myself into my jeans for return journey. No idea how much I've gained but I know all of it seems to have settled on my thighs and hips.:(
Good to be back with old friends and welcome to any newbies that have joined. I won't even try to read back over the pages I've missed but do fill me in if I miss anything.
DD1 got us some bread, milk and fruit in so we were OK for breakfast but now I need to do a meal plan and a shop and get back to normal (life and weight IYSWIM).
So far I've just had a HEX breakfast (Shredded Wheat and milk) and may eat nothing until dinner time. Then, after two weeks of eating out I'm not ready for proper cooking so I think it'll be something from the freezer like Bolognese or Sainsbury's burgers or perhaps more if I get to shop.
Back soon.:)0 -
Welcome back Maman. Sounds like you had a good holiday with plenty of sun.
You'll soon shift whatever you've gained - what goes on quickly comes off quickly!
There's been a bit of a Speed challenge while you were away and lots of people were saying how many Speed foods they'd managed to cram into their meal plans! I was averaging about 20 a day but didn't help when it came to WI last week - I lost a measly 0.5lb:mad:
Back to normal this week and lost another 0.5lb so doesn't look as though loads of SP does it for me! Certainly won't bother again.
Didn't get the big shop I'd planned as I forgot to take my £5 off £40 shop voucher but did get everything I need for the meal plan from now until I go shopping again next Tuesday. Will hopefully remember to take the voucher with me next week. Was planning on getting some meat into the freezer using the 3 for £10 meats but have enough to be going on with.

welcdome back maman I have missed you
I've had a wobble this afternoon; not sure if I've mentioned a guy who is working in our office on an 8week trial but he's horrible (think obnoxious, letchy, always interrupts) so this week I worked from an office 15 miles away in the morning for a few hours on Tuesday just to be away from him but had to come back as all my files etc ae in this office. I have purposely brought in my earphones, plugged them in and been listening to music from youtube whilst working. I also periodically break for a minute every 90mins or so, stand up go get a drink, come back and check emails/facebook or similar. Well today I find out he's been complaining about that (he has had to sit right behind me in our shared office) saying I do no work and I'm just sat on social media/facebook which is really not true and he doesn't have a clue that I do more than just the same job as him. I also do all the membership and events finance, all member contact points as well as events work, tinker fisher scholarships administration and about a trillion other tasks. So basically I'm really angry and upset.
I went to poundworld and bought some sweet for the caravan at the weekend. I've had a milkway crispy roll and some foam shrimps but I won't have any more. I will end up over my syns but I'll just have to get over it.
Will be walking/playing my bum off at the caravan this weekend so hopefully I will limit any damage!************************************
