Thanks for the kind welcome Meg, I don't know why but I'm finding it all a bit overwhelming/emotional. I like others have struggled with my weight for quite some time, and It's so lovely to be with others in the same boat (hopefully soon we can get ourselves a smaller boat) :)

Welcome to the thread mirry... as Wiz said she keeps plodding but it all adds up :D she's lost 20lbs since I started logging it in November which I think is fantastic, medication or no medication!! :T:T

Wiz do you keep a log of your weight loss? How much have you lost in total?

Ask any questions you want, someone is usually around to help :D

Evening folks just checking in with you lovely folk and say hi to mirry :hello:

Now got cannula in arm to have antibiotics (thank goodness I'm allowed to stay at home) by the lovely nurses for the next few days and the Dr has now prescribed tramadol to try and get on top of the pain. Trying to stick to plan but I am so immobile atm I am not expecting any whopping loss next Monday :D

    Have a good week everyone.

    Hiya :)

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done B-e-g for SOTW :T, hope you're feeling a bit better.

Thanks for the encouraging words about the jeans everyone, I'm feeling less down about it now. I'd made up my mind not to buy new clothes until October and I think I just wanted to feel the thrill of getting into a smaller size - sadly it had the opposite effect, but what it has done is made me more determined.

    Back in the morning,

what days do you guys do a weigh in? If you don't attend a club.
Or do we just choose any day?
I managed to do a iceland delivery for tomorrow. I ordered the SW sausages, curry and pizzarella meal. Also strawberrys, apples, chicken drumsticks (will take the skin off).
Can anyone tell me how much branflakes I'm allowed in the morning pls, I've read two different amounts...28g & 35g ?
    Kindness costs nothing :)

mirry i have never been to a SW club. I joined online July 10th last year (because my size 18 work trousers wouldn't fasten by a long way) for 3 months and wasted my money if I had known I would have gone it alone with this lovely friendly helpful thread from the beginning :A:A:A:A

I work in a school kitchen and after the long hols went back into work and :j:j my trousers fastened :) and I am now wearing size 16 work trousers :)

I have the alarm set on my phone for 3pm Thursday and that's my weigh in day and time. I weigh in my birthday suit :D so I cant blame my clothes ;)

I am now at goal and under goal by a couple lbs :j:j:j

    Look at my signature.

Sorry for the essay but last year I was very :( 12 months later I am very :D

PS Weigh around same time and same day if you weigh different times different days you will find weight will fluctuate.

Choose which ever day you feel comfortable with :) as Tweets said as long as it's roughly the same time, day each week then you'll get a more accurate result.

It's 35g of bran flakes for 1 heb or 5.5 syns, I think it changed a while back so older info may say 28g
