Can someone help me out please? I'm looking at the Extra Easy SP plan and i've just read a success story online and this lass said she did it and the hardest thing she found was that she wasn't allowed carbs like bread/rice/spuds etc. But my booklet says you can still have all your normal free foods.

So how does EE SP work? Is it just a matter of eating mostly SP foods?

if you read post 2 of this thread it explains it a bit and there are some links to other explanations..

Basically on SP days you should concentrate on eating half Speed foods and half Protein foods + your hea and 2 heb's + 5-15 syns

Rice, potatoes and pasta aren't either S or P so they are a no-no, but bread would be counted as part of your heb so would be ok within the limits of that.

hope this helps a bit :D

    Well done, selement.

Hope to see you back, Swiper, when you’re feeling ready.

I’ve had a rotten week SW wise. All my own choosing, of course. I’ve only one lunch date planned for the coming week, so that should help me get back on track. And I do need to list my menus; I think not doing so has allowed me to go my own sweet way. Not shopped so will start posting again on Monday.

    My menu today:

Breakfast: wholemeal toast (HEB) with 1/2 teaspoon Flora light (1/2 syn),marmite
    a nectarine

    Snack: apple

    Lunch: cold Heck sausage (2.5 syns),mange tout,green pepper,plum tomatoes,2 eggs,laughing cow cheese cube (1/2 syn)

    Snack: cheesecake ML (1 syn)

    Tea: bacon,scrambled egg,baked beans,plum tomatoes,2 waffles (5 syns)

Dessert: meringue (2.5syns) with greek yoghurt and strawberries

Haven't had much tea (with milk allowance) today.

I was out today watching eldest daughter (age 13) competing in an inter-school event today. As part of that, there was a raffle, winners went to a table and chose their own prize.I won a draw, and when I got to the table of prizes the huge box of Maltesers had already been claimed (phew :o).So I got the next best thing: a box of Guylian chocolates,AND a box of M+S biscuits :D:D.Boxes of temptation right there!!! My OH was joshing that I should have chosen bottles of alcohol.I pointed out to him that since I don't drink, and our children are aged 13 or under,he would be the only one that benefitted from that prize.Much better that I get something we can all enjoy. All of us.Honest Guv :rotfl::rotfl:.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: on the hair extensions being blamed for any gain, now I know what to do if I need an excuse.

    Morning :)

I've gone a bit overboard on the syns for the last couple of days so I'm reining it in today and getting back on plan. On Friday I decided not to have any alcohol so during the day DH and I shared a cake, but by the end of the day the non-drinking resolve went out the window...:o More wine syns were consumed last night, but thankfully I still had syns left to use.

Speed foods yesterday were: carrots, sugarsnaps, nectarine, melon, onions, bns, and apple, so a bit low. Today will be better - salad for lunch and dinner to be decided (need to go shopping) but will include plenty of speed veggies.

Shala - the hair extensions are a great cover up for naughties :rotfl: Is this a regular thing, or is it for a special occasion?

Swipernoswiping - good luck, you're welcome back whenever you're ready to try again.

Have a good day everyone, onwards and downwards.

I know I was :naughty: but really enjoyed the cone was Mr Whippy ice cream and I have no idea how many syns :p
Didn't eat anything else I shouldn't yesterday so should be ok :T
