I'm getting a lot of "too thin" comments, I don't see it myself as I've still got a fair way to go and still have a belly. I think they mean "not as fat as I once was"
Do you have any Nectar points jock - atm you can double up and clothing is one of the departments you can do this on. I got £12 top for £5 worth of point and £2 cash. If not, 25% off is good. Will have to pay them another visit as I can get DS's discount too.T - teriyaki chicken and coconut rice (2 for sauce) stir fry veg
Did anyone see the new hula hoops called puft.. they are 3.5 syns per bag so will be getting some of those when i find them in the shops.
x
Please share how you do this shala. We love teriyaki chicken - we just marinade the chicken in the teriyaki sauce
The new hula hoops sound interesting - will try to remember and look for them in Sainsbobs this morning.

Morning all
No weigh in for me today - the scales have been unpacked but they decided not to work. I think they need a new battery so as I won't be able to do it again until Tuesday put me down asSTS please Shala.
That's the end of my personal mini challenge and I didn't get to 2 stone lost as I'd hoped. It will be interesting to see if anyone notices the difference.
Smedley - I'm a 'lunch' person too, and will be facing that challenge now as I'll have less time to prepare it. Before SW a quick lunch would have been a tin of soup and a roll, now the soup will have to be made in advance and the roll depends if I've used an HEB for breakfast. I'll be taking note of all the suggestions, so keep 'em coming peeps!
Beg - Monsoon and Next both sell larger sizes, but only on line, which I find really annoying. I do buy clothes on line but it would be nice to try my size in store as well.
I'm loath to get out of bed - I need to have a shower but it's so COLD!
Have a good day everyone, back later if I can borrow someone's wifi.

I always used to call Lunch = Dinner, Dinner = Tea, I bet you can tell I'm from Yorkshire.eye, ee by gum
It is dinner really You don't have Lunch Ladies at school hence Dinner
Ladies I only write Lunch when I am doing my menus
Dinner for me is when I go out to a restaurant and having a late meal.

Change of plan for lunch! Just found half a tin of beans in the fridge so need to decide whether it will be jacket potato & beans or scrambled eggs & beans - will decide when it's nearer the time as to how hungry I am.

Morning
Well I lost 1 lb this week :j:j:j It is my first loss in ages and I didn't really deserve it after the rubbish I have eaten this week
Anyway onwards and downwards it is for me. After my melt down shopping last week, Lantanna I feel your pain, I have decided that I really can't face summer clothes shopping the size I am so things are going to have to change!
This week I am planning every meal and so far I am thinking:
B - Berries and yoghurt with cinnamon
L - HM syn free soup and a sandwich with either cold meat/tuna with salad
D - A variety of syn free meals with a reduction in the amount of meat we are eating
Snacks will be fruit and veg and my HEX As
Syns - freddo or curly wurly each day with the rest saved for a couple of glasses of wine at the weekends.
I have realised that I am not eating enough at lunch and as a result when I come home I am ravennous and eating unwisely before dinner. Also I feel the urge for a treat after tea so the chocolate will satisfy that.
Now I need to think of veggie meals that are quick to prepare and tasty. Often the vegetarian meals I make are cheese heavyor feature pastry so I will need to have a good scout about to find new options
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Morning all. Just a quick post for me as I've got a to-do list as long as your arm here! Well done to all the losers and to Smedley for SOTW. Hugs to everyone who needs them
I'm still feeling mega bloated and exhausted, had pasta for both lunch and dinner yesterday which I'm sure wasn't the best idea however it's done now. Had plenty of water with it so fingers crossed it doesn't give me a gain!
b: fruit, yog and coffee
l: hm soup and hexb bread
d: not sure yet, possibly quorn cottage pie or lm sausage casserole so probably about 5 syns for each
The rest of the syns will definitely be some sort of chocolate later...that's the way I am feeling!!
Have a great day everyone xxx0 -
Big Hugs lovely hope you feel better soon. Had to laugh at the swingers.
Re a sheltered life, me too :rotfl: I had a message from a man who asked if I wanted to go Dogging, thought he meant going to the Dog track to see them race. Told my Brother who promptly spat his coffee everywhere, went bright red and muttered think you should Google it before replying. So I did:eek:
Oh My , now how did my Brother know about things like that EH
:rotfl:
That really made me laugh...tears running down my face xx:rotfl:0 -

It sounds like you could do with protein to fight off the hunger.
Are you allowed to eat eggs, I know some veggies that just avoid meat, some avoid meat and fish, not sure about dairy though?
If so, frittatas are often served at room temperature, often served at brunches/meetings, so they seem to travel well and would be great to eat on the go...SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -
Maman I simply could not disclose the name of the village as we would have an influx of all sorts of randy sods over here lol:rotfl: and clearly we have enough going on!! I will say however some parts of rural Northern Ireland are clearly not as sleepy as you would think!!! lol
Yes I am feeling much better now, thank you all for your kind words! I am blaming the eclipse for all of this madness!!
Meg :rotfl: Dear oh dear!!! Whatever next??? You do seem to get them don't you!! Imagine asking a lady like yourself to go dogging, I'm appalled :rotfl: See we can expect a baby boom thanks to 50 shades of grey! Random pointless comment but somewhat fitting with the themes of the chat today!! lol
lantanna, read you rant with interest. I am not really that much overweight (not at all, if I listened to some people) but I do want to lose a bit. Cannot comprehend losing 6.5 stone, so you should be really proud of yourself.....I would be. Gallstones are caused by too much fat, so your aunt is talking rubbish. Such a pity you can't find a nice dress....it must just be your shape and nothing to do with how big or small you are. Can't you buy some nice dressy trousers and a top? The bit about the swingers made me laugh. I'm glad you seem to be feeling a bit better....rant away on here, I'm sure it makes it better. On a lighter note, I've been doing this for 7 - 10 days and not lost an ounce!! xx0
