Ohh I missed maman going away (hope you had a lovely time if you read back) and welcome back Denise, I hope you enjoyed every single crumb of croissant
I think you should be honorary Speed Cop whilst maman is off travelling with your 17 a day habit
i'm a bit confused Greentiger - I think you've finished your challenge but I might be being a bit thick - have I got your results wrong somewhere? (posted the chart below)
Welcome joee
I love graze boxes 1940'sgal but I can't be paying the price for them cash or syns wiseyou could swap them for fresh fruit or nuts as your heb instead, or make your own low-syn ones. I know you like baking so you could easily make a tray bake and freeze it in small portions to have instead of your graze box..
I've had a good EE day today
B - pineapple, strawberries, yogurt, 15g muesli (0.5heb)
L - chicken salad, mozzarella pearls (3)
T - pan haggerty, courgette fritters (1) salad (hea for cheese)
S - milk (1) crisps (3.5) alpen light (0.5heb)
right off to sort the chart(I might get it right this week

Well done, Saver and b_e_g.
Kalkan looks lovely, maman. I’ve never been to Turkey. I’m sure you’re SW spirit will be hovering around here, keeping an eye on us! Ah! I see the spirit has taken over your person, Denise. It’s made a good choice.
Oh, shala, you’re right (of course). I was thinking I had another Monday - ever hopeful but dismayed. Sorry, folks, for spoiling the chart. Off to sit in the corner with my dunce's cap.

Morning all
Thanks for the non chart ShalaI'm happy not to be reminded of my poor performance this time anyway.
Well done Meg for SOTW :T
Denise - 21 speed foods is bl**dy impressive! I often have in excess of 10, but never that many.
Yesterday was a bit of an odd day - it was shopping day and there was very little speed food left so breakfast was Weetabix (HEA/HEB), then DH and I spent the morning planning the week's menus, writing the shopping list and trying to think of something to have for lunch that didn't involve bread or eggs (we had eggs for the previous 2 days and I was fed up of them).
After much to-ing and fro-ing which included the option of going out for lunch, I came up with a plan, which was to have a green day so we could have spaghetti on toast for lunch and a jacket potato with beans and coleslaw for dinner.
The result was the only speed food we ate all day was.... an apple! We could have had salad with the JP but it doesn't go well with beans imo.
Having said that, we stuck to the plan and only used a few syns for spread on the toast and a tbsp. of coleslaw.
Today is back to EE, we've stocked up and I've already had strawberries and pear so 2 notches on the speed food counter.
Last week of the challenge, so have a good one everyone, let's go out with a bang!

I know what you mean about salad not going with baked beans when you have a jacket - I get round that by eating my salad as a sort of starter. Salad is one of the best things to up the Speed food!
I haven't got much Speed food in apart from salad and a melon; plus some frozen veg. I'm also using up stuff from freezer, a lot of which also have Speed foods in - for example tonight will be savoury mince which has 8 speed foods in it.
Thank you everyone who has congratulated me on the number of Speed foods I've eaten this week! Have to say I eat a lot of salad and pickles (thanks to Maman to mentions pickles as a way of upping Speed foods).
This post is getting a bit long so will be back later once I've finalised my menu for today! Still having to use what I've got in as not done a proper shop since we got back from France on Sunday! Will be going tomorrow after WI and there will be a better selection of fruit rather than just the melon I've got at the moment!
