Lois Lane and those other half pounder gainers. You know what to do.

Get your kitchen scales and weigh your bras! Mark the lightest 2 with a perm marker on the label or sew a couple of contrasting colour stitches by the hooks.

haven't been to SW for about 6 weeks. Just fed up with not losing weight and not getting any support from consultant. She has never contacted me once since I stopped going.

I kept telling her that I was really struggling and she got me filling in various diaries, which I did and then said she couldn't see anything wrong. Each week she said she'd email me but she never did.

Glad to see that some people are still doing well.

Sorry Pennylane that you are still struggling to get support from your consultant.
No other classes near to you with a different consultant?

As seems to be the norm for me at the minute, I am way behind on the thread but will try to get caught up over the weekend.

Checking in with a +0.5lb for this week. Having an epic fail with this challenge.
I know where I went wrong & then had the best of intentions to get it sorted this week but life has gotten in the way a little with a meal out for a birthday. Damage limitation between now and Tuesday WI.

Hope everyone is keeping well :)

Even better do SW at home and WI your birthday suit like I do :o:p . I have my phone alarm set for 3pm every Thursday that's so I know its time for WI and don't forget ;)

Does anybody know why weight fluctuate within an hour?

Yesterday, I had a sneaky peak on my scales before WI and about 1.5 hours later, I went on the scales again (can't remember why) and noticed i was 1.5lb heavier. Wore the same clothes and only had a cup of coffee.

I know my scales are 1lb heavier than SW ones.

Changing your group does help. I know this was with WW, but principles are the same. My leader dropped a couple of meetings, in order to look after her unwell mother. Unfortunately, her other meetings were either on work days or on Friday, her meeting was 21 miles away. Not going to drive 42 miles to weigh in etc. Still friends with her. I dare not to mention SW. if she mentions WW, I say I am doing it online. As I do know the propoints values of almost everything.

Her replacement wasn't as inspirational as her. So found another meeting a similar distance from here and got on well.

Unfortunately, illness (gallstones and subsequently gallbladder removal) and mum breaking her hip, I only went to WW for five months in the space of 20-22 months.

Go on SW website and find another meeting. You can see if the consultant has other meetings when looking at her phone number. Or do it online

Meg that quiche looks amazing! It's making me hungry again even though I have been nibbling all evening! Slightly over syns today (16) but well under for the rest of the week so should be ok - as long as I don't misbehave too much tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend x

    Hello all,

Can anyone fill me in please on how Slimming World works, and more importantly why it works for you?

I've been trying to lose weight by myself for ages but with no luck. So i'm giving serious thought to going along to my local Slimming World club next week and am wondering what it's like. I get very nervous about stuff like that, going in to a room full of strangers etc... Though i'm willing to try anything now to get this weight shifted!
