Good to see you posting lush. How long before you move? And being extra nosey, what sort of crafting do you do?

Hi Maman :) we're aiming to complete on the 17th July as that's the only date we can move in July due to bf's schedule. I'm praying that that comes through!

I got no packing done in the end last night, not surprised really.

I make cards/do some papercrafts (love my sizzix machine!) and do some sewing. Nothing fancy just little bits and bobs for me and wonder bairn/ friends and family.

It's another STS for the chart for me please Shala :( bit fed up again but I know I must have been mindlessly snacking a bit so need to nip that in the bud!

I'm going to try mixing it up a bit; I'm seriously lacking in lunch inspiration at the mo :/ today I have some plain salad (just lettuce, couple of different peppers, bit of tomato, cucumber) and a wholemeal pitta bread (HeB) and I'll have a cuppa soup (ASDA tomato mug soup, 92cal so 5 syn?)

breakfast: I have a shake today - strawberries, banana and coconut water (2.5syn) but I'm going to start mixing that around too and choose from heb cereal with milk from hea, fruit salad with no/low syn yogurt, overnight oats, heb toast with jam (2syn) and have a week or two of the shakes. I love them and it helps that you keep all the fibre in with a bullet blender but I think my body must need variety.

tea: today I'm having chicken with something. I was going to make a couple of mini wraps (I have morrisons just for kids mini wheat and white ones in the cupboard that bf usually has) but not sure on syns; I'm betting 4.5each :( So I may boil up some noodles then mix them with the chicken, a little soy sauce and some veggies so a kind of almost stir fry.

been craving snacks recently which isn't like me but dunno if its the 'almost pay day and only got bits left' feeling niggling at my brain and making me crazy!

I got this recipe in my email box Healthy clean eating
1 cup / 150 grams dry roast peanuts ( or any peanut)
Pinch salt if desired. If you add 1.-2 Tbsp cocoa unsweetened It's 86 cals per serving
Place nuts in processor or blender,on low 7-9 mins until creamy scrape down the sides if necessary.Add cocoa ? Salt. Blend till smooth taste add sweetener if desired transfer to an air tight container and store in fridge. Always stir before each use. Will keep 1 month.

Oh I had no idea how peanut butter was made. I make that 45 syns for peanuts and 3 or 6 syns for cocoa powder. Quite synful but if you really like it they're your syns to do as you wish with them.;)

Thanks for the info about the crafting lush. I've never done cards but I do enjoy sewing, not done any in an age though. If I were you I'd try a week with shakes and a week without to see if they really are free.

Last night's meal was OK but nothing special for a posh hotel. Enjoyed my salmon but otherwise fairly ordinary.

WI for me today and I gained 1.5lbs. I'm still under target so I can live with that. I think I'll just keep eating SW meals when I can until my holiday (we fly next Tuesday:j) and then get seriously back on plan when I get back. Like superswiping I'm hoping that holiday gain will go quickly.

    EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shredded Wheat, HEA milk
L: not had anything yet, probably Golden Rice with cucumber and spring onion, not got much else in and trying not to buy much.
    D: SW spaghetti Bolognese
    Syns: parmesan

So much for being good this week. Last night I ended up searching for gifts for my friend leaving work for maternity leave as who I thought was going to do it was unexpectedly off. I have not had kids or really been around many new mothers so thinking of gifts last minute was challenging. Was stressing in case I picked stupid things. I think I did ok in the end but OH and I couldn't be bothered to cook after that and had a Chinese. Today was said colleagues leaving buffet and I decided not to care about slimming world for a bit. So now I'm out of time to make up for it as weigh in is Friday morning. I will have a no syn dinner and low syn day tomorrow but I fear it is too late for me this week....

    Hi all :)

Simon Mayo played 'I wish I were a rich man' on his show last night, it was great to hear it and it set me thinking about how different life would be in terms of losing weight.

    I particularly liked this line:

I see my wife, my Golde, looking like a rich man's wife
    With a proper double-chin.
Supervising meals to her heart's delight.

It would be so easy to give up altogether and get fat, but I think for most of us here that wouldn't be an option because of the health risks involved.

What would you do if money and time were no object?

How would I work out 1 tbsp of peanut butter ?. It seems like it could be too much trouble. I'll let my lad eat it, he's slim lucky him.
