Thanks for chart shala. I'm trying to forget my +2lb last night too ;):rotfl:

Well done on being SOTW teallach :T

Just had some SW pancakes for supper with some frozen berries (they were thawed actually) and some ff sweetened greek yoghurt. Made them with 35g of oats (hexb) and shared them with DH so by my reckoning that means I still have a half hexb going spare so will have one of the new lemon meringue hifi bars. Not had hexa either yet so may have a hot choccie made with milk.

For tea tonight we had the Lidl Pulled Beef with BBQ Bourbon Sauce - I calculated that it is 8 syns for the whole amount so divided it between the two of us so 4 syns each. Supposed to serve 3 - definitely not 3 people with normal appetites :rotfl: The sauce was very sweet too. We served it with hm vegetable rice packed with speed veg and separate courgettes and brocolli.

Tomorrow's meals maybe lentil and bacon soup for lunch and the tea maybe SW ultimate bolognaise (the one with bacon in) nom nom.

Catch up with you all tomorrow.

  • Nice thread, food ideas. What are your caloric maintenance levels?
I've managed to lose 10lb, in 4 weeks but I've hit a plateau. I think I may have reduce my caloric maintenance level or increase my energy output to increase calories burned.

Oh wow, thank you...didn't expect that!
Only 1lb to go to get to my 1 stone mark and it really doesn't want to shift this week. Only thing I've done different is walk even more than last week, food wise, much the same. Weigh in tomorrow and I'll be lucky to get an STS let alone a loss although I said the same last week, so here's hoping it's a repeat of last week!

Slimming World doesn't work on calories Hamilton, if you have a read of the first post it'll explain it a bit for you. None of us count the calories we eat but each day a third of your food intake should be vegetables/fruit which lowers calorific intake somewhat.

Feel free to ask questions if you fancy trying something different to calorie counting. It doesn't work for everyone but as you can see from our chart there are some good losses.

Hope that helps a bit :D

Thank you for your help, everyone (both re curries, and lunches).I think I will start taking sandwiches to eat.Kingsmill wholemeal thins are a HEB or 5 syns,so not bad either way.

    Have had a good day,foodwise:
    Breakfast:1.5 slices wholemeal toast (couldn't finish it all!),scrape marg (1 syn),bacon,an egg,a cooked tomato
    honeydew:most of a large slice,though I realised it had a slightly mouldy taste about it,so won't be finishing that.Newly-cut melon,too

    Lunch: salad: 16g cheese (3 syns),carrot,plum tomato,cucumber,green pepper,beetroot,ham,mayo (1/2 syn)

Snack: lemon greek yoghurt (1/2 syn),strawberries

    Snack: cherries

    Tea: chicken,SW chips,brocolli,baked beans

Snack: a Go Ahead bar (3 syns) and a Buono choc bar (6.5)

Meant to say, maman, that yes,am getting quite close to target. My actual target is 9lb away, but of course I only need to lose another 6 to get back into range.Hoping to do that before my 6 week countdown runs out

No it's me shala don't worry, thank you for doing it all for us, it's a great help when I can see what's been happening as I'm no good at keeping records like that for myself, life get's in the way and I seem to let the important things slip. so please keep up the good work and thanks again.:A
