Sorry to hear that TIE, can you just go away on a Saturday nght or does OH work weekends?
OOOOOOOh are you actually baking bread. I definitely wouldn't have the willpower to stick at half a roll.

I didn't manage half.. i had a whole one :( but they only weighed 70g so they weren't huge AND i didn't eat the other 10 that were sat on the counter.. so i class that as a win :rotfl:

Hi again - just a quickie as the SW sausages are being discussed, we had Muscle Foods chicken sausages (1/2 syn each) and they were really nice. Quite firm and meaty but not chewy, and with a good flavour.

    LL :)

But "chicken" sausages just sound weird - do they taste like chicken? - i really can't get my head around it :rotfl:

I bought some very lean pork sausage meat and wondered about making my own without skins or make little patties anyon know how many syns they would be, or would they be FREE ?

Lean Pork mince is free but i don't know how different that would be to sausagemeat - are there ingredients on the back Wiz? It may contain breadcrumbs or some sort of binding agent...

Think it's your op tomorrow Lantanna, so best of luck in the world for it. I hope you come out pain-free and ready to rock!! ;)

    EE for me today
B - Pineapple, yogurt, 3 syns Dorset nutty muesli
L - Loaded jacket skins, salad, pickles
T - chicken, chorizo potatoes (syns for chorizo) roast veg, salad
S - crisps (2.5) apple, almonds (heb) milk (hea)

    Have a lovely day xxx

There used to be sausages made from smoked chicken approved by SW and they tasted nice. wiz, I wouldn't risk the sausage meat as being free. It's only 5% pork mince that's free and that's not easy to come by. I'm happy with the Sainsbury's BGTY Cumberland sausages at 1 syn each.

We'll be having our main meal about 3.30 p.m. today so will skip lunch. If I'm hungry beforehand I'll eat a pear or a cold potato.

Shame about the cherries. They disappeared off the Speed list with the new books in January I think.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans
L: sausage tray bake (new potatoes, aubergine, courgette, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, red onions) with French beans.
    Snack: pear?
    Syns: scrape of spread

When they arrived I really wasn't sure about them, they looked so pale and anaemic! As for the taste, you could tell they were chicken but they had the texture and flavour of sausages, if that makes sense.

Sorry, I misread the original post and thought you were going to make sausages from pork mince.

SHALA the S W sausages from Iceland were as tough as old boots not nice at all I won't be buying them again. I shall stick to LM in future although I bought some very lean pork sausage meat and wondered about making my own without skins or make little patties anyon know how many syns they would be, or would they be FREE ?
Congrats to all losers, hugs to STS and a double hug to the gainers. Hope things will be better next week x

Wiz sausage meat always contains a binder of sorts usually breadcrumbs or some kind of cereal so will have syns.

Ages ago I bought an electric mincer sausage maker and when I get joints reduced mince my own and bind with egg, this has not only saved me syns but also a fortune on the cost of sausages and burgers. I paid £15
on Ebay for the nearly new machine so have been very pleased.

I'm both looking forward to it and worrying about it! Worried nothing will look right because I have abnormally short legs (I'm 4'8). This is why I wanted to lose weight at least as better to look short and slim than short and fat...
I wasn't going to look at dresses yet as my wedding isn't until November next year but I've already been engaged over a year resisting dress shops, and a dress shop is just so happening to have a designer day of Maggie soterro dresses and I just so happen to love the look of her dresses....

Not buying yet even if I love something as really I just want to see if anything suits me and if it is realistically in budget. I have lots of time still so even if I find THE dress I'll try to get it cheaper in a sale :-)

I bet pics will be banned but I have a savvy photo happy bridesmaid so I reckon she'll get some regardless so will see what I can do!

Ooh selement... Lucky you! I had a Maggie sottero dress and they are gorgeous. Mine was celeste in blush(slightly pink)
I got to go dress shopping in March with my stepdaughter whose wedding isn't till next October but she looked so nice in a dress that she tried on, and it was reduced to £450 from £1300, that we just had to buy it!

Good luck for tomorrow lantanna.. Wishing you a speedy recovery
