Thanks for the thumbs up on the pulled pork lois. Did you do a large joint for leftovers?

No, it was a small piece of tenderloin that we bought on YS a little while ago. It was a bit of an experiment so next time I'll do a bigger piece so we can have it for more than one meal.

    Hi all

Sorry not been on for the past few days. Thursday was DS1's birthday and I was so good. Everyone had steak bakes with roast potatoes and veg (DS's favourite!!) and I had the SW meatballs with the roasties and veg. the Roasties are the sw ones anyway so that was good. No wine and a tiny piece of birthday cake.

Friday was fine and I was shattered when I got home from work so decided not to have any wine and just have an early night. Glad I did as I woke in the middle of the night with really bad cramps and needless to say a star week evolved.

Still getting used to this as have just stopped taking the pill a couple of months ago since DH had the snip at xmas and everything is still settling down. Feel totally washed out and have no energy but the up side is that I do not feel like eating at all!!!!

Hopefully back to normal tomorrow. I was in bed last night at 08:10pm and I won't be much different tonight. Menu plan for tomorrow is:
breakfast - toast and jam, fruit
    lunch; chicken, tomatoes and cucumber
    dinner: pasta
    supper: berries and yoghurt

hugs to those who need them and well done to those who have lost.

:T that's a great result wiz. Well Done!

The burgers are frozen b-e-g. I made the mistake of looking in chilled to start with too. I bought another pack this week as they were so easy to do when pushed for time. Thanks for trialling the SW stuff. Seems like their venture into ready meals isn't a huge success. I wonder how they'll judge it overall. I think our group on here are mostly able to cook from scratch. Perhaps they're selling well to people who haven't time to do HM food.

:Ton the buffet choices. Certainly a step up from sausage rolls!

Think I will have to leave a reasonable amount of time to enable me to 'forget' these sausages before daring to try out the burgers. No doubt it will be one day when we are in a hurry and starving. We are certainly not fans of the SW ready meals and much prefer making our own version of ready meals - make a couple of extra portions and freeze for another time. At least that way you know what you are getting and you won't get any nasty surprises.

I could quite fancy a nice sausage roll just now maman - but it would have to be a NICE one.

Tea tonight was SW kfc style chicken, potato wedges, beans and hm coleslaw followed by a big bowl of watermelon.

I've heard before that the SW sausages aren't that nice - were they the old ones BEG or the new chicken ones? I was looking forward to trying the burgers, hope they're ok :(

Brunch - 3 LM sausages, 1.5 thins (heb +2.5syns) onions, apple
Tea - burger, half a HM white roll (4) SW chips, salad, pickles, cheese (0.5hea) ketchup (1)
Snacks - minions crisps (2.5) alpen light (3)

Making some white bread rolls to go with tea  so I may not be able to only have a half one  need to dig out the willpower tonight!

Sorry to disappoint shala but they were the new chicken ones - in my opinion the LM red onion ones were much nicer and I will be sticking with them. You have been warned ;) :rotfl:

OOOOOOOh are you actually baking bread. I definitely wouldn't have the willpower to stick at half a roll.

I was going to be reallllly good this week after being good last week as this weekend I will be wedding dress shopping for the first time, however my naughty OH convinced me (I didn't need much convincing) that we should have a mcdonalds for dinner. He's very supportive of my weight loss and proud of me, and hoping to lose weight himself by eating similarly, but is a sucker for junk food (as am I but I'm doing much better lately!).

I'm determined to be on plan for the week so other than my lack of speed food I will at least syn bank to make it right.

Maximum 11syns a day for me the rest of the week it is! I typically seem to use 11.5 a day so if I miss out my morning snack of crisps (hula hoops Pufts, 3.5 syns) one day this week I should be alright.

Evening everyone, hope you've had a great weekend. Feeling good as we went for a 12 mile walk today which ended up being 14! Hopefully that will have balanced with what I ate today and given that push for the 1lb loss I need this week to make it to the 1 stone mark.
Breakfast: 2 poached eggs, bacon, beans on toast (HEB) orange juice(2syns)
Lunch: homemade lentil soup, muller light goodies (2.5syns)
Dinner: ate out and had steak with salad
Snacks: yoo moo lolly(3.5syns) huge fruit salad with muller light

Oooh wedding dress shopping! Do keep us posted selement. The McD's is only one off plan meal and you've plenty of time to claw it back. I'd up the Speed food as much as you can. Good luck for the week.:)

Just enjoyed a yummy dinner with Hairy Bikers' braised steak. It's amazing that something so tasty only has one teaspoon of cornflour between 4 portions (so negligible syns) and the amount of gravy is brilliant. I make the full recipe for 4 but just two steaks and a bit of cheap shin to save for my lunch.

Not surprised but slightly miffed :(. Big tummy issues combined with huge stress and complete exhaustion is not making me a happy bunny :o. Been told I will carry on 1-1 with his nibs next year so stress has stepped up a gear. Have also been told by all and sundry (including professionals who came in to observe) that I am doing a wonderful job. Am pleased they think that but it does nothing for my exhaustion every night. I have spent this weekend feeling lousy and sleeping. Saturday night and I was in bed by 9pm, I know how to live don't I :rotfl:. Today after lunch I was awake 1 minute and out cold the next, sitting up!! I feel life is passing me by :(.
On another note, I have a BIG wedding anniversary coming up, both of us will be working so have no idea how to celebrate.really wanted to go away but can't take holiday in term time :(. Any thoughts?
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
