TIE~ A voucher for a weekend away when schools break up?
    Shala~~What a star.

Have just realised I only have a month til I am away for a weekend.
So I am pledging to loose at least half a stone in that time.

Well done, durham, wizkid and selement.

    Review of Satisfaction Saturday
Breakfast: fruit salad – banana & clementine
Lunch: mug shot, fruit, yogurt turned into hexb BLT
Dinner: goats cheese & shallot tart (need to work out the syns for this), salad - no didn’t have this; DD and family came to watch football which started at 5, so they brought fish suppers, but I only had 1 fish as usual(rest went to a grateful cat) and a few chips. However tortilla chips were also consumed.

Review of Sunday (no plan posted)
    Breakfast: ½ grapefruit
    We had visitors today.
    Afternoon tea: oops
Dinner was help yourself (and I did) from: pesto lemon chicken, avocado, cucumber & tomato, goats cheese & shallot tarts, potato salad (mustard mayo, spring onions, radishes & celery), raspberry roulade, passion fruit tarts

So, I can safely say I did not do well. Thanks for the encouraging words to all strugglers. I don’t have any worries or issues; I’m just enjoying life too well. I am a very lucky & happy lady who is not making good SW choices. I’ll get my come-uppance tomorrow, I’m sure. However I'll keep planning; if I don't make any effort, I'll get hee haw (in fact, I'll get plenty!!)

    Monday’s Mindfulness
Breakfast: poached eggs, beans, hexb toast, fruit & yogurt
Lunch: leftover pesto lemon chicken (9 syns !) with potato salad (2 syns)
Dinner: tomato & mixed pepper pasta
    Snacks: fruit, yogurt, hexa cheese

I will be out for lunch twice this week at least, so I will have to rein in my syns to compensate for this. It’s not an ideal start tomorrow, but, like most people, I can’t justify disposing of perfectly good food.

    Stay strong, everyone.

    The retirement meal was lovely.

But on a sour and upsetting note. When I was leaving the pub, walking to the car. My former colleague/friend was outside waiting for her DH to pick him up along with a colleague who was picked up by him as lives down the next street..

She grabbed my shoulder and said 'I want a word with you Scarlet' Then let go of my shoulder. 'You've been lying about me' I walked off saying there will never be a time and a place to talk and I haven't lied. Got into the car, drove off and good job I did then as I drove past her DH's car as he was driving into the car park.

I didn't bother to turn around when I said the above, but hopefully, there were other colleagues outside that heard the conversation.

How dare she ruin my evening? Did she have to wait until a special occasion. to do this? I will be telling my colleagues about this tomorrow.

Hi again - just a quickie as the SW sausages are being discussed, we had Muscle Foods chicken sausages (1/2 syn each) and they were really nice. Quite firm and meaty but not chewy, and with a good flavour.

I shall stick to LM in future although I bought some very lean pork sausage meat and wondered about making my own without skins or make little patties anyon know how many syns they would be, or would they be FREE ?
Congrats to all losers, hugs to STS and a double hug to the gainers. Hope things will be better next week x

I had a piece of sponge cake with icing (birthday cake type) about the size of a box of Swan Vestas.

An individual slice of Angel cake is 7 syns. Should I use this?

They would be free as long as you don't add anything that's synned - breadcrumbs for example, and cook them without adding fat, other than a spray of frylight.

    Ninth Anniversary
    Good morning all

Monday again already where did the weekend go?

    My menu for today:

B - shreddies with hot milk (its freezing here this morning) with banana and cuppa
L - golden veg rice (1.5 syns if I remember rightly) with salad bits
T - sausage & mash with green beans

Not sure what to expect with the SW Iceland sausages and burgers as I don't think they've had great feedback. But I know that OH will eat them anyway if I don't like them! I've always got good old LMC sausages that I can grab out of the freezer if I'm not keen on these.

I've had a really synful weekend, averaging about 17 for both Sat & Sun. So will have to behave and be good today & tomorrow before WI. It'll be a mindful Monday for me definitely

    Have a great day everyone!

    Hi all

Had a lovely roast dinner type lunch yesterday, unfortunately followed by lemon tart and even more unfortunately followed up in the evening with takeaway pizza... The later wasn't even nice and I feel rubbish today so hopefully lesson learned. So far today (green):

    Breakfast: porridge AB, banana
Lunch: will be pasta with quorn pieces and passage
Dinner: will feature salad of some kind as I'm woefully low on speed today otherwise!
Snacks: Pear, Aldi benefit bars B, might pop to town at lunch to get something to up my speed intake too!

I knew I was low on speed today but writing it down really helps to crystallise it - definitely a Mindful Monday here!

Also making a real effort to drink lots of water today to make me feel less bleurgh over the weekend

Scarlet - glad you managed to walk away, your former colleague sounds very childish! Are your paths likely to cross again? Don't let her get to you.
