Good luck Shala. I'm sticking to it tuesdaying too.
  • Have slept. Feel far more positive this morning, in so far as to sorting out some priorities. I shouldn't feel guilty for exercising (what's that all about?) and feel twice as positive for taking 25 minutes out of my ToBeDone list.

Awww love so sorry about your holiday, re the gain don't worry to much I have found that what goes on quickly comes off quickly and a lot of it will just be fluid. I know we don't count calories on SW but just as a general guide I find it helpful to remember that it takes 3,500 extra calories to actually gain 1lb of real fat dount very much you have consumed 17,500 extra calories. Get back on plan as soon as you can and watch it come off.

Thanks Meg - and for the piccie posts of inspiration. Love making pita pizzas - kids enjoy it too. I had the good idea of preparing meals for this week before I went away so the food plan is set til Thursday lunch, but pitta pizza is on for Thursday tea!

Swiper as Meg said, don't beat yourself up. It'll come off again.. people are so inconsiderate aren't they, so sorry your holiday didn't go to plan but i hope you enjoyed your first night sleep back in your own bed!

    Good loss JPScloud.. :T:T

I had a bit of a row at work earlier so I've been stress eating.. :( I've added it all into myfitnesspal just to check and it's still only come to 1500 calories, so although over on syns, it's not that much over on calories (i know we don't count calories but...)

Annoyed that I've let someone get to me that much that it's ruined my day...

Off to strip the beds to try and burn off some of those extra calories :j:j:j

I used MFP for a while while not counting syns, switching about gave me an excuse to faff, and avoid planning, so it didn't work for me, even though its a very good tool. I guess it's a case of picking one and sticking to it.

Was supposed to be tuna salad for lunch but already hungry. Not much by the way of friendly snacks in at the minute! Time to pop to aldi for SP staples I think.

    Morning all

B-e-g - enjoy your date day today, and the film. The female lead in Man Up is an American actress called Lake Bell, and her English accent is very convincing - you'd think she was born in the South East of England.

Shala - I'm with you with "stick to plan Tuesday", hope your day is better today.

    Well done Saver-upper, JPS and B-e-g - they're good losses. :T

Swiper - sorry to hear about your holiday from hell, try to put it behind you and move on, the weight will soon be gone.

DH was golfing yesterday so I had lunch on my own, and I spent a while thinking about what we had in the shop that I fancied and there was nothing, so checked in the fridge at home and there was some left over salad and 2 eggs - so I ended up having poached eggs with salad. It was actually [STRIKE]quite nice[/STRIKE] okay. :D

Not sure what we're eating yet today, it's shopping day so decisions will be made when I sit down and write the menu plan for the week. Think we might have JP with beans and salad for lunch.

    Have a good day everyone.

    morning all :D

Stick to plan Tuesday has started :j:j

I have my spa music to listen to today to keep me calm and a plan to follow, lets see how it goes!

    EE
B - banana, yogurt, alpen light (heb)
L - rice, LM sausage, roast veg, soy sauce
    T - SW lasagne, salad
S - crisps (2.5) apple, satsuma, milk (hea)

I've bought minion crisps with me today - they're only 2.5 syns a bag so if i have more than one bag i won't be wasting 9 syns again like i did yesterday :o

Denise, maman, i know you both bank your syns but how do you keep track please? I always find i forget how many i've used - do you write it down or have really good memories?

Certainly don't have a really good memory! I use the food diary on lifeline online. I have the laptop on all day and just pick it up and type in anything as I have it (usually!). Usually wine syns get added the following morning:rotfl::rotfl:

:T to jps, beg and saver upper on your losses!

Your holiday sounds like a nightmare swiper but like beg and jps have proved, it'll come off quickly.

scarlet, you effectively have no syns on that menu because without meat it could be a Green day so the cheese would count as a HEA. Are you saving them?

shala, it's really easy for me to count syns. It's just multiples of 24 for bottles of white wine!:rotfl: Seriously though, I used to write them down by subtracting through the week from a 105 total alongside my food diary but over time I just know if I stick to my wine syns plus gravy, sauces and a few bits of chocolate and cheese then I'm OK. That's when I want to lose. If I have off plan meals then I'm over but that's OK for staying in range. So I'd suggest writing it down until you get to target then you can afford to relax a bit but not too much!:naughty:

saver-upper, I do a tomato and chilli sauce for patatas bravas. It's syn free and yummy. I keep meaning to try it with pasta. From memory, it's a softened onion and a tin of chopped tomatoes with paprika, chilli flakes to taste and a pinch of sweetener. Simmer to let it thicken and then stir in some balsamic for the last few minutes.

lantanna, if you're lurking I think your op may be tomorrow. Sending you a hug.:A

I'm out for a carvery tonight. I've learned to say no to Yorkshires, try my best to go easy on roasties and gravy, pick out as much cheese free cauli as I can then load up on veg. So won't be that synful but will have a glass of wine with it.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: ham, fried potato and veg, beetroot
    D: carvery
    Syns: squirt of syrup, dinner?

shala_moo,very pleased to report a loss of -2.5 lb today.Very happy with that :j.I have to add it up properly, but I think that is nearly a stone lost since I started doing SW on 5th of May.

if you started SW the same week you started the challenge then you've lost 13.5lbs :T:T:T

Thanks for the chart Shala. Well done to all losers and to Candyapple on achieving SOTW. :j:T:j:T

Absolutely exhausted tonight after having one of those days. Lunch today was LO meatloaf with huge salad and a tiny bit of salad cream followed by fruit. Dinner tonight was SW tuna fishcakes, baked beans and 200g of Aunt Bessies oven chips (5 syns too tired to do SW chips). This was followed by a huge bowl of watermelon.

Beautiful night here so hope you are having some sunshine too.

    Congratulations candyapple on SOTW

Well my Stick to plan Tuesday was 90% of the way there. But I had my weigh in and lost 1.5lbs so very happy with that.

The 10% off plan was breakfast which ended up being banana and yoghurt which was fine but then I had a choux bun after tea tonight which I am counting as all my syns used for today.

Clean start tomorrow so who is with me for a 'Willpower Wednesday' on plan. Need to have a think about what I am having now.:p
