Saver-upper, thanks for mentioning the delivery delay that Muscle Foods offer – it is a great idea of theirs. That’s what I did in January lol. Trouble is, as I take stuff out other stuff tends to creep in, eg leftover meals, fresh veg that I don’t want to waste. Right now it is stuffed! I keep a freezer inventory and try to meal plan with that in mind. I almost had an empty drawer last week, but when I went to butcher for mince, there was a great offer on, so I took advantage of that! When will I ever learn?
shala, I love popcorn. We have had the sharing bucket of popcorn a few times, when it came as part of a cinema voucher gift. Each time we brought more than half of it home and it kept the 3 grandkids going for a week or two, lol!
I think I may have my own microclimate, but today the sun is shining, sort of. It’s still windy and it’s a balmy 11˚C, with a promise of a high 13˚C.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
SHALA I'm happy to report a 1lb LOSS
I have decided I need to change my attitude to eating. I seem to see it as a treat ie. when we go out for celebration meals etc. I need to realise that the treat is being with people & the outing rather than the food. This also applies to holidays. I'm so tired of losing the same 3-4lb and then regaining it due to celebrations or holidays. This time when we go away, I will have no housework/meals to prepare (all-inclusive), so I can use the energy saved from these activities to get fit. There is a gym so I can take advantage of the weights and tone up. Also there is a pool. My aim is to do at least one activity a day rather than sitting around on a sunbed and hopefully it will counteract any extra calories. Just need to put my intentions into practice! The food will still be enjoyable, for a start I won't have had to cook it and I will allow myself desserts but I don't intend to waste calories/syns on drinks.
DD2 arrived safely back from Uni yesterday, can't believe 3yrs have gone by so quickly.
DD1's birthday is on Wednesday and we are hoping to go out for the day, which will include a meal out, so will have a chance to put my good intentions into practice.Weight loss 0/2st

I've lost 2lbs. I would be delighted if it wasn't the same 2 lbs I've lost so many times before
I need to know the secret of "keep going" and breaking through the barrier of losing a stone and giving up. I could be quite a few stone down if I had just " kept going"durham_mim wrote: »

I totally identify with you both. Looking back at my weight loss I am the same weight as I was the third weigh in I had in January so effectively I have just messed around for the past 5 months:( I find that I do okay one week and then the next is a nightmare. Wednesday and Thursdays seem to be really hard for me and then after I feel I have blown it those two days I just seem to go to pot for the rest of the week.
I think I really need to take maman's advice and think of each day as a brand new day on the plan. I do plan and I buy all the food for the plan on a saturday but by the time I get to Wednesday I seem to have lost the will to stick to it.
I am sure together we can do this but it is just so difficult!!!!0 -

TakeItEazy we are seeing Mad Max, love Tom Hardy! Sampled the sweets and they are yum! Pretty much just like jelly cubes but perfect for cinema sweets alternative. Also a small bag of maltesers each. Will still be within syns as low syn day so far.
Thanks for the liquid tipwe did fine that with a pasta dish last week.
Wasn't me who asked but glad you enjoyed the movie, not my cup of tea and didn't enjoy the original Mad Max films either
Struggling so much today, went to put flowers with my Mum. Hubby and I then drove around popping here and there and just spending time together and I completely forgot the christening I was supposed to go to. Finished me off when I realised.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Sorry, can't post it as an actual link as I'm a new forum member so replace spaces with / or Google and you should find it.
Used lemon lime and blackcurrent flavours of jelly and shared the gelatine between them.
These sound interesting dubbya. Wouldn't mind giving them a go.
Not a fan of Mad Max either either I'm afraid but hope you enjoyed it.
Hugs TIE xx
