Main thing is wiz that you take care of yourself and when you are ready you can get back on the SW wagon - we'll save you a seat
Thanks beg I will remember that, just make sure it's comfy seat :rotfl:0 -
This is the recipe I used for the sweets:

Sorry, can't post it as an actual link as I'm a new forum member so replace spaces with / or Google and you should find it.
Used lemon lime and blackcurrent flavours of jelly and shared the gelatine between them.SW Week 1-5: -12lb Week 6-10: -4.5lb Week 11-15: +0.5lb Week 16: -1lb Week 17: -1lb Week 18: STS Total Loss -1 Stone 4lb!0 -
:j 2lbs off for me today :j
I am so happyThis week the focus will continue and I am determined to drop another two lbs
Delighted for you rummer:T. I think resisting all the cakes was a turning point for you. Now I'm at target I look back and remember when I was really strict with myself. It really is worth it. Afterwards you can afford to relax a little when you're maintaining but it's worth focusing on getting there.
I allowed myself an oat cookie as my HEB:o. Totally unofficial but I'm sure it had fibre in it;).
wiz, I think you've done really well to keep track for the past few days. I know you've not followed your plan but having one means you've not lost it completely. I've a funeral to attend on Friday too. An old friend who's had leukaemia for a number of years until she just couldn't take any more medication. So sad for her family.
Sorry to hear about your difficult week tie. Is it likely to improve with new intake in September?
dubbya, hope you'll do OK on the recipes but be aware that you need to balance your food across the day to make sure you get at least a third Speed (most fruit and vegetables) food. Sometimes taking a recipe in isolation doesn't cover this. And are you aware of the one each of HEA and B each day?
I checked on the drinks and Malibu is slightly lower syn than Archers or other spirits. So for a 25ml shot it's 3 syns for Archers, gin, vodka etc but just 2.5 for Malibu.
Hope you enjoyed the film. I was thinking of trying that Tesco salted caramel popcorn next time I go. 3.5 syns for a 20g bag.
We had a great dinner tonight. Incredibly indulgent and filling: pulled pork, patatas bravas, side of mushrooms/peas/asparagus. Amazing that it's so tasty and absolutely syn free!!:happyhearSW!!0 -
Thanks for the advice Maman. Yes I have read about the 1/3 superfree. Okay with lunch as mainly salad and fruit as snacks. Not always good with it at dinner though so maybe need to be more creative! I have been having grape nuts and milk for breakfast as HEA and B. But today was milk in drinks and wholemeal sub lunch. Thanks for checking the spirits, I love Malibu so that's good.
Ooh, we bought a pork shoulder today to try the pulled pork - may have to cook it tomorrow!
The film was very good. Sadly I'm not a fan of popcorn but OH is so I'll tell him about the Tesco one.SW Week 1-5: -12lb Week 6-10: -4.5lb Week 11-15: +0.5lb Week 16: -1lb Week 17: -1lb Week 18: STS Total Loss -1 Stone 4lb!0 -

I haven't had a chance to look closely at the offer today, but looking at the Syns Online site, people have been able to order for a delivery date alot further into the future.Might help you

Next week, its a colleague's retirement meal. One of these people that will be going is a former friend/colleague. She has turned into an unpleasant character. This and her racist comments are the reasons I am not speaking to her. Never had an argument. I overheard her husband in a shop yesterday (he didn't see me) talking to a mate saying she will be having a go at me. I have done nothing wrong and all of my colleagues have noticed her she has gone downhill in personality.
I will not tolerate this and I will ignore her. If she persistently heckles me, my colleagues will back me. I will not raise my voice as I don't want the retiring colleague to remember her retirement do by two having an argument.
She was the only former colleague to turn up at a leaving do for another former colleague in April. Many colleagues didn't understand the need for her to turn up.
I am worried about the meal because of this. She's 64 and should know bloody better. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Have low expectations of the quantity you get for 20g.. I know popcorn is light but there's about 10 pieces in these bags! For someone who usually has a sharing "bucket" of popcorn when they go to the cinema I was disappointed :rotfl: however, this is why i'm doing SW in the first place
hugs to all that need them, seems to be some sad times for some of youI hope the people you have lost will be remembered fondly xx
Scarlet  not a good situation, good for you being the better person! If she does say anything and you remain calm it will be her that will show herself up.
Well i did my first gym session yesterday - swimming only as the personal trainer was off sick :j:rotfl: but my arms are killing me and i have a stuffed up ear from the water... see exercise is bad!! :rotfl:
Lovely day again here,( greentiger do you live in a different weather pattern to the rest of us)so may spend some time in the garden tidying.. all Body Magic!:j
Menu for today will be EE but I haven't decided what's for tea yet..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Good morning, just to let you know SHALA I have put 2lb ON I couldn't expect to lose as I have not eaten enough meals but ate too much comfort foods.
Once upon a time it would have been cigs but it's food now.
I am doing my best. Thanks for understanding.0 -
Morning lovely slimmers,
Wizkid, don't be too hard on yourself x
I've lost 2lbs. I would be delighted if it wasn't the same 2 lbs I've lost so many times before
I need to know the secret of "keep going" and breaking through the barrier of losing a stone and giving up. I could be quite a few stone down if I had just " kept going"
New SW week, taking it one day at the time.
Brunch: fry up HEb
T: boiling a gammon joint, roast tatties, lots of veg
Not sure about syns yet, prob cheese for HEa
Have a great day , choose wisely0 -

:Tmum of two and you're right, wiz has had a hard week so gain is only to be expected.
Unfortunately there is no secret to keeping going but starting anew and one day at a time is a good plan. There's nothing we can do to change the past but we can try to learn from it. Sometimes, it's one meal at a time (like I was saying yesterday, don't let one off plan meal encourage you to write a day off). The best advice I can give is planning. For me that's a weekly plan as it means I use my weekly shop to buy in SW friendly foods. And then there's Speed food......;)
That colleague does sound a trial scarlet marble. You're absolutely right to take the high moral ground and not descend to her level.
You're right about the tiny portion of popcorn shala but many of the other bags in the magazine were even smaller!:rotfl:
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs
L: JP, cottage cheese with chives (don't really like this so won't buy again), spring onion, pickleslamb shank braised on parsnips, carrots and leeks with SW roasties and cabbage (probably red and green)
Syns: squirt of HP, weekend wine:)0
