I have looked into muscle foods before but its so expensive
their new customer deal is half price at £75 but looking at the individual price would anyone really pay £16 for a 1.2 kg chicken
:rotfl: not for me not even at half the price.

Will be interested to see what the syns allowed offer is to be.

Oh I see.I had never looked at the site before, though I know it is mentioned alot on some of the FB SW sites I go on.Like you see, will have to see what it is all about when they release details.

I'm really enjoying the food and this forum has been so helpful, have been reading all your lovely posts non-stop! I think the hard bit will be alcohol and eating out occasions!

Welcome dubbya. Good loss for your first week!!:T Have you done SW before or are you using the sample menu? Do ask any questions you want. You may have read that a number of us save syns for weekends/special occasions. I save most of mine for wine as I find it's very easy to eat low syn all the week. It's not for everyone but it works for me.

:j I did it :j Today was an on plan day :D

Even though I was surrounded by cake and various other temptations and I kept strong. Fingers crossed the weigh in results are good!

    Brilliant willpower!!:T
I was looking at the Syns Allowed website tonight. The admin posted saying they had arranged a deal with Muscle Foods to get huge reductions for their meat.
I have never bought food online before-might have to give it a go.The Muscle foods seems to have a good reputation.Apparently the meat is very lean, and lovely

I think lush buys meat from there IIRC. She might be away in the caravan but I'm sure she'll give a review soon.

You were only a tiny bit over syns yesterday, just try and claw them back today.

Out for the day today at a motorhome show so lunch will be off plan.

Breakfast was a bacon & mushroom sandwich (HEB)
Dinner will be jacket potato, beans, salad

    So 2 on plan meals!

    Denise

That's a good way of looking at it denise. When you think that most of us have 21 meals per week, we need to look at blips that way rather than write of complete days.

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, scrambled egg, HEA milk
L: 2 chicken drumsticks, fried potatoes and whatever veg I can find (mushrooms, tomato, spring onions etc).
D: Tesco pulled pork (old recipe), patatas bravas, mushrooms, asparagus
    Syns: weekend wine!:j

    hello

some good losses coming through :T

    welcome to thread dubbya:D

    Well done rummer :T:T

Well my cocktail afternoon yesterday was good, but very synful. I was in bed for 9.30pm though :rotfl: I haven't drank in over 10 years and to be honest I don't think i'll bother again, I feel a bit rubbish and tired today but I think that's from dehydration rather than a hangover..

Food plans haven't been brilliant this morning, got up early to go get some gym clothes and had a big fat sandwich when we got back :( but I've put a gammon joint on and some jacket potato later so tea after the gym will be healthy-ish..

Need to sit and plan the week tonight I think!

    Have a good one xx

    Helloooo everyone

Back to winter I think here - it's bloomin freezing.

Welcome dubbya to the madhouse. :hello:You have both got off to a cracking start. :T Good luck for the new week.:D

Got code for next week Lois (Meerkats) - so we are having a sort of date day next week and calling at cinema on way back. ;) Thank you.

Will have to give those Sainsbobs burgers a go maman. Will be a good freezer standby. Will also give the new SW ones a go when they are available. I thought they were a bit pricey but as you say by the time you work out cost of mince etc and your time spent making them, it may well be worth a try.

Well done to all the losers for this week. :T Totally lost off with who has done what when the site was playing up.

Hope you all have a good weekend. Just catching up on last nights Corrie then I am going to start on a few more kitchen cupboards - they are all lower ones now thank goodness.

Big welcome to newbies, Huge well done to losers and commiserations to gainers. Sw does work but life also gets in the way, just go with the flow :A.

Thanks for the welcomes! It's great how everyone's really supportive of each other.

Cinema trip tonight so have got one bag of small maltesers each and have made some HM haribos low syn. Hope they taste okay. Sweets was my biggest downfall previously, though finding out each real haribo was 1/2 syn has helped put me off

Going to try diet fanta chicken for dinner as a fakeaway Chinese. Excited to try all the meals!
