Morning All
Congrats on the losses :T Too tired to read back and find out exactly who it was, sorry! Had a bad night with the boy and feeling it this morning, just hoping I wake up enough to get a day's work done.
Ate too many snacks yesterday - couldn't seem to stop myselfI did do a C25K session though so with any luck that will work it off. It's easier to be good at work because I take a ton of food including carrot sticks and fruit and the like with me and I have to stick to that. I'll also get a walk in at lunch as it's meant to be nice today. Not looking it so far though!
My brother is visiting at the weekend and he's not been here since the end of last year so will be lovely to see him but apparently the family are going out for pizza on Saturday  Must be good beforehand for starters so no more snacking. I think I'll do as last time we did the hut and make sure I have a big bowl of salad so I limit my pizza intake to 2/3 slices (thin crust and don't eat the big crust round the edge!), no garlic bread, no pudding. I will not lose my shiny this week to a pizza binge:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Well a good day for me yesterday, think I stuck to my syns for the first time in ages, I think I had a few less as all I had after dinner was an Oreo Tassimo and a Mullerlight corner.
Oreo Tassimo 5
Corner 2.5
Coleslaw 0.5 (from SW book)
NOS Jelly 1.5
Bit extra cheese 3
So had 2.5 left!0 -
Morning everyone.
WI this morning and have lost -1.5lb, so I got my shiny for 1.5 stones.
Happy to have reached that milestone and feeling very motivated at the moment. I'm not sure if I'll meet my challenge target as it's been a slow start but I've got a target in my head of losing a stone every 2 months. I did that for Jan/Feb and have obviously cleared 7lbs in Mar so am happy I'm on track with that.
EESP day today
B: porridge with skimmed milk and berries (A/B)
L: BNS and carrot soup with bread (B) and spread (1), quark & fruitnot sure - am heading to the shops today so I might get ingredients to make something otherwise I'll take a HM curry or chili out of the freezer
S: kit kat (5), apple, pear, nectarine, small piece of cheese for other half of A.
I'll definitely use more syns too, just not sure what on0 -
It's WI again for me this morning but have sorted out my plan for today.
Having a Green day:
B - banana after WI
L - HM carrot & corriander soup; 1 slice bread (0.5 HEB + 1)
D - Crispy topped fish & chips (uses 1 slice of bread for crumbs) 0.5 HEB + 1; chips & peas
S - 2 Sweet Onion Ryvita, butter 2 syns
HEA1 - Milk
HEB1 - 2 slices of bread (+ 2 syns)
HEB2 - 75g whiting (0.5 HEB); 2 Sweet Onion Ryvita (0.5 HEB + 1)
Syns and HEBs a bit all over the place today but think I've added it up right so currently 5 syns. Not sure what else I've have for syns but will have more as was a bit low last week and am certain I've had a gain this week; always seems to happen if I don't have my full 105 syns over the week.
Back later with result of WI!

Morning all! Well, after the stunning success of yesterday, I have woken up with the ladies bloat so feel like I am right back at square one!! Ploughing on regardless, future me will be glad I did.
Thanks to everyone for their kind words, was honestly buzzing with the whole thing yesterday. Just goes to show that if you stick with it and don't give up you will get the results you deserve, even if it takes a while!
b: fruit and yog
l: hm split pea soup, hexb bread
d: bean chilli, pasta, speed veg, hexa cheese
That's a grand total of 0 sysns, will probably have a chocolate mousse (6 syns) and put the rest towards the weekend.
Have a great day everyone xxx0 -
Here I am
Prepare for a rant people! I had the most awful day yesterday!!! which finished with a Chinese and a big bar of chocolate from Lidl.:( oh and 2 big glasses of red wine which I have been off from Christmas!!
So last night went out to look for a dress for this wedding I am going to in 2 weeks. Was in House of Fraser with the mothership and was a good sale on in Karen Millan and Ted Baker, you know where this is going don't you :rotfl:
Absolutely beautiful dresses and I'm a size 14 in them but my stomach is absolutely horrendous:eek: I was so disappointed. Then we went to Hobbs and it was even worse I needed a 16 ! and nothing looked remotely nice at all!!
The stone I have put on has really made a massive difference to me, my overall shape and how I feel and look.:(
I have never really been a dress person and have always found it difficult to get dresses to suit because I have a large bust, am thick and short waisted and then have these stupid stick thin arms and legs sticking out of me! I am much like Mr Potato Head!!
So then after coming out of Hobbs the mothership informs me that my Aunt has said that the reason why I have gotten gallstones is because I have lost too much weight. I am 8 lbs heavier right now than when she last saw me btw. So that was like a red rag to a bull and I'm standing in House of Fraser crying hysterically at the mothership you tell her then that I can't get a dress to fit me if I am too skinny!! My Aunt is clearly a medical expert. I was so upset!! It was kind of the straw that broke the dying camels back!!!
Then with the hysteric crying I lose a contact lense!
We then go to Debenhams were I in a huff imagine a 2 year old on their worst behaviour start picking up absolutely ridiculous tent like things at random and go over to the fitting room with some sort of half sensible things mother has thrown at me too. Where snotty sales assistant informs me that the shop is closing in 15 mins and so the fitting room is closed!!
Well as you can imagine she got it! 15 minutes! I went off at her like a hand bell! Really really annoyed!! THE SHOP IS STILL OPEN FOR 15 MINUTES!! Ample time to try on and pay!!
Then I had to drive home with one eye shut in order to see! 20mins on the motorway not good!!!
So then having evicted the mothership from the car I decided that I was going on a massive binge and was nearly driving to KFC, Burger King, The Chippy, The Pizza Place everywhere basically and getting everything and eating it!
Some sort of common sense prevailed and a Chinese and bar of choc sufficed !!
Oh and since I've sat here since last April 6 stone down on average today of all mornings some random man I work with has decided to ask me if I got any lose skin or stretchmarks from my weightloss as he got some when he lost weight about 20 years ago.............................................. He also said I assume you were about 17 or 18 stone yeah??
I am beyond fed up. I can confirm the following:
- I am sick sore and tired of people having an opinion on my weight
- if Aunt thought I was too skinny then why has she not said that to my face instead of telling me I looked fantastic
- I am on average a size 12, my current BMI is 26 something. This does not make me skinny, ill looking, starving, killing myself, I've taken things to far and all the other things that have been said to me!!!
- I hate my shape, I will never find it easy to get a dress ever
- My stomach is swollen and even worse with the bloat from the gallstones and it is depressing the life of me
- I need a break :rotfl: from work and people!!
- I've lost all this weight and I'm still not happy and I'm still not good enough for people
- I could be a serial murderer and people wouldn't care they would just care what size I am
- I hate sizing and numbers! I officially hate it. My trousers jeans are all a size 12 from Primark & Asda and all my jumpers tops are a 12 - I have some 10's in skinnier days but yet I can be a flipping 16 in a dress!! Really what was the point of losing 6.7 stone if I am going to be a 16 in a dress when I started off a size 20!! In what world does that compute!
Anyway ignore me, its a safe space to rant and rave and quite possibly I am going out of my mind!
It might give you a laugh and you might feel the same way about some it and yes I know my troubles are nothing in comparison to some and other things going on in the world but their mine that's my life and its all doing my head in right now!!
I might look into some free counselling as this is driving me mental!! The NHS describe a significant weight loss as 6 stone or more - that's me and I'm not ashamed to say I need some help getting my head around it all!! I'm sort of on and off tears - not good! So yes losing weight is great but there is a lot more to it than just your size or number!! As I've said manys a time SW gives no nod to this or preparation! And that's just my opinion that they should!
Anyway still have no dress, don't care and might just go in a onesie!! I quite possibly will be sectioned by the end of the week:rotfl:
Oh and in other news, the mothership who I think is totally concerned for my mental stability right now decides to ring me up to tell me that 2 absolutely awful people that they have been friends with for years and are in their 70's have turned out to be swingers!!!! Now an awful lot of things make an awful lot of sense!!! It is a very strange world! :eek:0 -
Lantanna I love you xxx
That is all
Dresses are pap you remember my drama last year over the bloody dress for a wedding! I too had to get a 16 despite jeans n tips saying 12 or 14
Sizing is crap just like I refuse to admit I'm an xl and ur an l in Superdry stupid sizing!!! Xl in Adidas women's is a 20 so how can xl in woman's clothing be a 20 and a 14?!?
Contact lenses - I always carry spares as they pop out randomly / I even sharpie pen on the lid left n right as I always forget what eyes which strength
Swingers way heylove that little snippet as a distraction technique
Did you enjoy the food last night??Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
I did enjoy the Chinese!! I won't be having anymore for a long time:rotfl:
If you saw these people though (the swingers) you would wonder how they even did things which each other never mind got anybody else to swing with them!! :rotfl:
I think the mothership has suddenly just decided that I am now an adult at 35 and she has removed her filter!! He used to hide !!!!!! magazines all round the village apparently and people used to find them under the bridge etc, on top of the bus stop and be like oh that's so and so's magazine and think nothing of it!! The wife used to go shopping with mothership and be in bras with the nipples cut out of them apparently whilst in changing rooms!!
I have lived a sheltered life!! :rotfl:0 -
lantanna have a massive hug from me! I have been there, howling in the changing rooms, it's bloody awful. I also have a family who have a flipping opinion on everything, mostly why I am unmarried / fat etc. I guess it's better to be talked about than not!!
Sizing in shops has a lot to flipping answer for. I'm sure some of them do it on purpose to make us feel bad. Two fingers up to the lot of them!!0
