  • Morning everyone

Well done Smedley on SOTW :T

I'm also on a Thursday WI, not expecting much this week though I've pigged out the past couple of days. We're going out for lunch later as well although we don't know where yet - am hoping its not BK after reading about the syns in a whopper! _pale_

    Today's menu -
B - Beans on toast heb, cuppas throughout the day hea
L - Not sure yet see where we end up I'll try to be good :D
    T - Cheese & onion pie (4) with veggies

Remaining syns to be decided if I don't consume them all at lunch

    Have a good day everyone

Thanks for the nice new thread. I have 11 pages to try and catch up on. Hope everyone is well.

So pleased i only set a small target I must admit now. Not on plan. Not been to gym. Ment to be going on holiday tomorrow till Monday. Best friend coming to visit next Wednesday for 2 days. Then its Easter! Lol. God help me!

Morning all. Shala -3lb for me please :j

Absolutely delighted, looks like ditching the cereal in the mornings and mixing up my HEX's is paying off for me...finally starting to get somewhere!! Thanks so much to everyone on this thread, you have honestly kept me going sometimes over the past few weeks. I think I would have given in if I didn't have you. You all rock, you big bunch of losers!!

My best mate texted me some pics of us on a night out in late 2000 last night...I distinctly remember how fat I felt at the time and I could greet at home amazing my figure is, I actually had a waist!! Using it as inspiration to spur me on!

Crabapple I got new glasses a couple of years ago, the cost is outrageous!! The ones I saw were Gucci, and when you factored in the special lenses so they weren't like the bottom of milkbottles, a large high street chain wanted £370 for them!! I went online and managed to get them for £200 in the end but what a hooha to get the prescription - there's loads of things the optician refuses to put on the prescription so you can't do it. I had a huge argument with them when they told me it was "illegal" to tell me what the pupilliary distance was - it's the measurement of how far apart my eyes are!!!!!! It's a total con to keep the prices up if you ask me. I never wear my malchecks out the house so I should have just got £20 ones :rotfl:

Well I am all fired up today, steered well clear of those flipping hifi bars when I was in the class after I bought and ate 8 in one day a couple of weeks back :rotfl:

    b: fruit and yog
l: hm soup and hexb bread
d: 1.5 lm sausages (3 syns), mash (2 syns for milk and butter), 2 syns for gravy, lots of speed veg

Still got 8 syns to play with, think I will hang on to them and have a proper treat later in the week.

    Have a great day everyone!!xxx

    Well done Daisy!! :T

Sometimes a change of something that you have as a constant does the trick. I find the more variety I eat usually the more I lose!!

Oh off to the toilet again, all the green tea :rotfl:

So attended first group last night. wasn't half as scary as i thought it would be. Was also 2 other ladies there starting too so at least i wasn't the only one. Have put weight on again since i last weighed myself a few weeks ago so was feeling rather pants.

Been reading my books trying to get my head around it all. Consultant and all others at the group seemed lovely so that's a bonus. Now just got to face dragging my self back to the gym tonight. I don't no why i keep putting it off as i know once i've been back once i will want to go all the time!

I love it!! So pleased you're in the zone and motivated!:D

I've been dithering about buying new designer glasses for months, fancying a pair of Orla Kiely but couldn't quite commit. A couple of weeks ago I decided to buy these:
    http://www.specsavers.co.uk/glasses/kitty?sku=25390087

as I was so fed up of my old 'granny' wire ones. I reckoned that at the price they'd see me through while I made up my mind. I'm delighted with them and as I really only need glasses for driving I doubt I'll be getting more any time soon.

Don't think I've had enough syns this week and according to my scales it'll be a gain but that's OK as I'm only 1/2lb off bottom end of target. I don't really like being that close to bottom end as I'm always worried I'll drop out and have to pay again!!!

    Denise

It's a real dilemma. I have to WI tomorrow and if I haven't gained a pound I have to pay. BUT if I'm hovering near the top I worry about that too. Never satisfied!;)
Hi guys. Still alive. Got took into hospital Friday. Most unexpected. Anyway, on the mend now.

So pleased i only set a small target I must admit now. Not on plan. Not been to gym. Ment to be going on holiday tomorrow till Monday. Best friend coming to visit next Wednesday for 2 days. Then its Easter! Lol. God help me!

Pleased to hear that CP. I know what you mean about Easter and holidays. All we can do is keep plodding. The whole point about SW is that it has to fit in around normal life even if it does sometimes mean one step forward and two steps back. When I was getting to target I used to long for a good stretch with no social engagements so that I could crack on. Not very sociable but it is worth it in the end.:)

    EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for teas
L: beef sandwich (HEB+6) and beetroot
D: gammon, new potatoes, cabbage, carrots
    Syns: bread, scrape of horseradish

I don't remember when I had a sandwich last but as I have a HEB going spare and I need to gain, I'm risking it.

Gammon bubbling away nicely in SC and will make soup from the stock too.

Out for lunch tomorrow but fortunately after WI!
