    Well done smedley :j and to everyone with a loss.

    I hadn't even thought about the weight of my new frames Shala :rotfl: I think they'll be fine, but I won't have them for another 2 weeks anyway as apparently it takes forever to make varifocals! They were £255, which is :eek: enough. They do free varifocal lenses with frames over £65 but then they show you the pictures of what vision range you get with the free lenses, then what you can have if you spend your dolla...

    Couldn't get away without new ones as I really struggle with anything close and have to keep taking the ones for my knackered long sight off :rotfl:

    Anyhow, my fears of a gain were misplaced. An amazing 0.5lb off. Ruddy scales even blipped down another half which would have got me a shiny. Still, there's always next week *sighs with frustration*

    Wow, that is a shock. Gee thanks

    Hope this gives people confidence that SW eating works.
    I follow it closely, do not cheat, I can even eat chocolate, an apple turnover with cream or have a cup of cider within my Syns allowance!

    Well done to everyone on the challenge,
    Anyone can do it, just keep your goal, or reason for doing it in the forefront of your mind.

    Thanks for the help I received from everyone on the forum :)

    Had "Beef Pad Thai" today from the SW Asia cook book
    Gorgeous!
    I used Whole Grain Vermicelli instead of rice noodles, more fibre

    Thinking ahead to the next few days;

    Going to be hard to stay on plan with all the fun we have planned but tomorrow;
    breakfast: scrambled egg and baked beans, possibly an extra lean bacon rasher and grilled tomato
    lunch: probably a sandwich (heb bread) and some fruit, natural yogurt
    tea: not sure but probably not on plan!

    Thursday:
    breakfast and lunch the same as Wednesday
    tea: party nibbles and fruit, birthday cake :)

    tomorrow I'll be doing approx. 1.5mile + walking
    Thursday we are off to Cannon Hall Farm so more walking and general frolicks :)

    trying my best to stay on plan but struggling not being able to check syn values. Once my new commission starts coming in at work (first lot due 24th april) I think I will have to find a new group and just make it work and hopefully then it wouldn't be long until I was at target. Will go and investigate groups now

    Thank you for the lovely welcome :)

    Got my referral through so all things being ok I will join on Thursday. It's payday then too so can stock up the cupboards a bit as I'm lacking most things, it being the end of the month!
