Not had time to read back, yet again.

I am very sad to report a 1lb GAIN, SHALA. Very frustrated as have been extra good food wise, even better than last week. Also concerned as only another week to go before, birthdays, holiday, anniversary & graduation take over and I really don't want to gain any more weight.

Exercise wise I have done 2hrs 30 min of Callisthenics and 2 hrs ballroom.

According to fitbit and MFA I have been well within my allowance.

    Just so frustrated

meg~~I dident realise you could freeze melon!!!!

Beanie it freezes really well, I portion it up in bags and then if I get any reduced grapes for strawberrys add a few to each bag makes a lovely fruit salad.

I'm hoping for a decent loss this week and fingers crossed, my body is being the defiant way it was last week as it's not looking good so far!
Today, i had: fat free yoghurt with fruit and mini weetabix (healthy a) and latte (healthy b)
yoghurt (3 syns) and fruit for lunch
Spicy squash and cottage cheese pasta with less pasta than recipe but extra veg..sweet potato, peas and tomatoes
Kit Kat for snack (5.5 syns)
    Muller light yoghurt

Does this look ok to everyone?

  • Hi

Hope you don't mind me butting in but I'm thinking about joining SW on monday (well it is the 1st)

I've always been big but probably neeed to lose 4 st so why now?

well I've got a cruise in the Caribbean coming up in November but more importantly I was so embarrassed last weekend as I was walking in an ultra challenge and the button /zip went on my trousers so practically walked it with my trousers being held by safety pins....which regularly came undone as I climbed over a stile.

Can I just ask a question though?

Can you calculated the syns on the go using the app? Or does the app just list branded food/chains?

I have 2 packs of chocolate Weetabix. You can have 1.5 of these for your HEB. Has anyone tried to cut a Weetabix in half? Impossible.

So when i have these, I will put this as my HEB and add 2 syns. As 1.5 Weetabix chocolate are 6 syns and 8 syns.

I can't believe i'm about to say this but I think i'm bored of eating crisps  does anyone have anything else savoury, low syn, that they snack on that they could share? The only thing I can think of is nuts..

I like things like cold meats, cornichons, beetroot, pickled onions but I don't think that's what you meant. In this month's mag there's a page of various flavoured popcorn that is low syn.

    Good plan and welcome.

I don't use the app but on the website it has the syn values of all sorts of foods. It's not totally comprehensive but not limited to brands. what sort of things were you thinking of?

I did enjoy my curry beanie but today has been synful. Jeans feel very tight tonight. Better day tomorrow.;)
