Sorry, I meat that I was sure I'd seen them in the Lakeland shop and now they're not there! I'll order one online tonight.

Joedenise: yep, totally mixed them up....got a funny feeling that I actually had them the right way round, then changed them lol
Maman: I have an M&S extremely fruity yoghurt at lunchtime which varies between 2.5-3 syns depending on flavour...they are so good! And no, didn't have meat that day but I only started SW at the beginning of April so I'm not familiar with the green/red days although I have seen the Syn counts for them on recipes.

9 stone Maman I am only 5 ft when I was younger my goal weight was 8st 4lb but I am too old to be getting to that weight again. I feel really fat at this 9st 13. So if I don't look thinner at 9 st 13 lb Then I shall try the 8st 4lb.

So that means you're on the home straight!!:j I'm 5ft 9 so if I was 9st I'd be positively skeletal! I used to be 9.5 when I was younger but I'd look scraggy if I tried to do it now. Size 12 now and happy!:D

Thanks for that. I don't eat yogurt myself so I was curious where the syns were coming from.

SW are definitely phasing out Red/Green and now they only appear on the website and it's all old stuff and not updated with the new Speed list. I think it's a shame as Green is a great plan for vegetarians particularly. I don't want to confuse you but, briefly, on Green the plus points are you can have 2 HEAs and Bs and the one third Speed food isn't compulsory. You can have a little meat/fish but it counts as a HEB or syns. Personally I'd still want to have the Speed food but for an odd day it should be fine.

Feeling stuffed (as usual) after my dinner. I can't believe anyone could be hungry on SW! :rotfl:

I probably eat way too much yoghurt but it's just an easy option!
We had a meal out tonight but I was good and had potato and onion soup and then rump steak with salad which had quite an oily dressing but wasn't swimming in it...also had mushrooms and tomato. I've no idea how many syns that would have equated to but given that I've only had a finger of a kit Kat (husband had the other) today, I hope I'll be fine:)

Can anyone recommend any quick n easy a few syns meals I can russle up in minutes when I get home from work at 8:45pm? I used to eat things like cheese and crackers, toasted sarnie or breaded chicken with microchips. All are very synful.

I love to batch cook, but my freezer is only the one in a f/f and is fairly full. I do the odd thing like on Friday, I did a chilli con carne and made enough for another meal. I have that in the fridge for Tuesday. I don't freeze meals if i'm having them within 4 days - as I treat it like a fresh ready meal.

I do have time in the morning to make something and then heat up after work.

That recipe looks about the same maman - would yours feed 2 or 4? This one in the book is meant to feed 4 but it would have been tiny portions  i'm used to SW recipes being quite big so I was disappointed (unless i'm a piggy ) if I did it again i'd definitely add more veg..

Unusually for me, I've had a bit of supper tonight as I was a bit peckish so strawberries, yogurt and a few marshmallows (the tiny ones 10 = 1/2syn I've seen on instagram) and 2 twizzlers = 3 syns.. finishing the day on 14.5 syns :o

Long shift tomorrow at work so all food will be eaten there, i'll post my menu now
    B - strawberries, yogurt, choc shot (0.5)
L - tin of noodles, toast (heb)
T - SW shepherds pie with extra carrots, gravy (2)
S - apple, milk in tea (hea) popcorn (4) satsumas

I also have emergency chocolate 2.5 syns if needed :D
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Just to update my chart info, I was away this week so No Weigh In for me this week. Back to normal this week though and I have planned for a good week with plenty of exercise and on plan meals. I can do this!

I do the speedy bolognaise from the SW recipes when I'm late in. It's still tasty:)
