I will post properly later, but I just had to say that there is an absolutely brilliant page on Facebook called SYNS ALLOWED,and it has absolutely THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of files with syns in.On the main page you can always ask, someone usually answers very quickly, but they do like you to look in the files first.Soooooo many files:divided by supermarket, food type (dairy, meat, yoghurts, pasta sausages),brands,Greggs  etc.Brilliant

I had to come out of lurkdom for this. ^^. I've returned once again to my trusted SW way of eating after lots of family stuff and my head not being in the right place, trying other stuff etc. Nice to "see" my lovely pals here still. :j

The Facebook page you've posted is absolutely wonderful! It's amazing cause it has pictures of the food and the syn values of lots and lots of foods. My housework is suffering because I've been looking through it all.

Been shopping today and bought crisps and some small chocolate bars, some deserts etc and wrote all the syn values on them with the help of the fb page.

    It's lovely to be back.

    Menu for today

    B: porridge /banana (b) fat free yogurt
L: bachelors rice with Jamie Oliver curried chickpeas (2 syns) veg
T: jersey royals, stir fry chicken, muller choc pudding (5)

HEa: cathedral city individual little cheese

Syns: hula hoops Puft 3 1/2

    Welcome back :D

I like that Fb page too, although it took me a while to get my head around how to find what I was looking for. There are some interesting anomalies e.g. syn values for meat dishes like BBQ beef and pulled pork - some are syn free while others can be 20 syns or more. It shows its not worth taking a chance on something being free without checking it first.

    That's pretty impressive!

The thing is though, did you enjoy it? Don't beat yourself up about it, life happens and all we can do is draw a line and move on. Recently acquired weight is easier to offload so you'll soon be back on track.

    Commiserations, TIE and jps.

    Review of Monday’s Plan
Breakfast: scrambled eggs & smoked salmon
    Lunch: out with friend
Dinner: baked potato, filling to be decided, salad stuff
    Snacks chosen from:
    choc digestive (4 syns)
    Special K crisps (4½ syns)
2 Ryvita & hexa cheese, tomatoes (3 syns)

Apart from lunch, this was a complete work of fiction, a fairytale, it never happened. Life got in the way - and a whopping pile of syns (interestingly lunch out was probably the least synful bit of the day- Caesar salad with chicken). Anyway, moving swiftly on …..

Fortunately, I have a quiet week coming up, apart from family commitments.

I got an unexpected -1 lb for the chart, shala.

    Tuesday’s plan
There isn’t one yet, as I haven’t been to shops! Have to go first thing tomorrow – not got anything in at all that anyone could have, lol (apart from some veg, and I don’t fancy that for brekkie!)
I’ll do my plan for the week later and shop accordingly.

    Good luck all.

You need to be a member of FB to use it. Then type syns allowed and its the first result. As its a closed group, you need to request to join. I got the acceptance an hour afterwards

Talk about focus. My DD asked me today if I was going to have another baby. I'm not. I am however firmly on plan.

Hellooo everyone - so sorry I have been missing but life has just been getting in the way and on top of that we have started to decorate.

Tried to skim read through the posts I had missed earlier today but in all honesty I cannot remember specific losses etc so I will just say a massive WELL DONE :T:j:T to all the losers among us and big hugs to the strugglers.

Late back home from class tonight and I have to report a gain of +2lb - seriously over-indulged on our little break and struggled to get back on it and on top of this the meds are still playing havoc. I have been back on plan for most of the week and head is back in the right place so hopefully I will be able to shift this gain next week.

The wedding tonight is absolutely chucking it down and it is really windy.

Hope you all have a good week.
