Actually Hilarious !!! Maybe it was fed up of doing Slimming World
If I was a badger that's exactly the sort of badger I would be :rotfl:0 -
I have news ! Op is on the 16th of June :T
That's brilliant news and not too far off. I'm sure you'll feel much better once it's over.
I have a nice afternoon out at a friends Award Ceremony tomorrow afternoon there will be Champagne and a Buffet. Typical I get invited to a buffet when I can't eat it :rotfl:
Enjoy your afternoon out. Good idea to have something you can eat before going but I'm sure there will be some salad and/or fruit you could have.I had raspberries and chicken this morning and feel awful, think I'm just to the stage now everything bothers it
That sounds absolutely revolting, no wonder you feel awful!
It hurt yesterday to drive round roundabouts so today I have declared no more work driving until after the operation. I am fortunate in that my work are being very supportive and I've announced I'm taking tomorrow off to rest also :rotfl:before I go to the awards thing.
Good to see your work are being supportive. It makes so much difference.

I never fully stick to the plan as I was recovering and lacked the patience to cook much.
Your leader will understand and perhaps if you have any holidays left, use one or two holidays
On no I've just myself to suit. I left in March just going it alone now but thanks0 -

My first weigh in.... 6lb loss! The most I've lost in a week at WW was 4 or 4.5lb.
I think the reason behind WW didn't work for me in the end - was the fact everything (apart from f&v) needed to be weighed, transferred to points. Grains, pulses and pasta were the worst. They said a portion of dried spaghetti should be the size of a 5p coin. I needed 10p coin sized portions (ironically the same size as the old 5p).
Only need to weigh your HEA and HEB, plus the odd syn food.
Wow! That's an amazing loss! You'll be getting your half stone sticker next week without a doubt! Well done.
Well WI was a bit better than expected with a small gain of just 0.5lb so still well within target. I'm hoping to lose 1.5lb over the next couple of weeks so that I'm at bottom end of target when I go on holiday - gives me a bit more leeway for all the french bread I always eat whilst in France!!!
Slight change to plan today as I forgot fruit this morning to eat after WI I popped into Tesco and bought a small pack of hoisin duck sushi - 2 syns - haven't had that for ages and really enjoyed it - even if it is an extra 0.5 syns to what it used to be!

I've cancelled my SW online membership now and going it alone at home. The only thing I'll really miss from the website is the syn calculator but I don't really use it that often
I will post properly later, but I just had to say that there is an absolutely brilliant page on Facebook called SYNS ALLOWED,and it has absolutely THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of files with syns in.On the main page you can always ask, someone usually answers very quickly, but they do like you to look in the files first.Soooooo many files:divided by supermarket, food type (dairy, meat, yoghurts, pasta sausages),brands,Greggs  etc.BrilliantSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

That's brilliant.:T I don't weigh anything now I'm at target just go by eye on milk, cereal and cheese as I got used to what it looks like over time (not recommending that but if you do then start measuring again if weightloss stalls) and for my HEB I almost always have bread so that's simple.candyapple wrote: »Hi everyone

That sounds great and ideal for those going it alone. Lots of us do have online access for free so just ask if you need us to look something up.
That's good you only had a tiny gain denise. Like you I want to be right at the bottom of target range when I go away on 23rd June.:j0 -

Oh. I'll understand.
I have to wait until 12th October to see my eye consultant. Should've seen him earlier this month but one of the two appointments was cancelled. Oct 12th was the earliest date I could have both appointments together!! He wants to perform a procedure on my better eye. Vision will be rubbish. I will need at least 2 weeks off work.
What is SW's policy with sickness? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I don't really see what the problem is :rotfl:
I ate some chicken and then ate some raspberries it wasn't all on one plate like a Meg special :rotfl:0 -
I suspect you may have to use holidays for sickness so you can book the weeks off in advance. Someone more knowledgeable will be along to tell confirm I'm sure.
I bought the mag today, hope theres something nice in it0 -
When I had my op I had a countdown for the first week I was in hospital so that just got peed up the wall, the second week I called a holiday and then I went back to it?
Holidays are there got holidays or sickness there's not a sickness allowance. You get 6 a year from the date you start? So I joined in sept my year runs sept - sept etc?

I swear the amount of stress I live under day to day I should be a size 0 with a lollipop head
Amongst the legal stuff and all the nights out ive also had a dash to local a&e with mini getting her head whacked by a lift door
My life needs to be dull and uneventful and quiet
