Yes the 2nd milk should have been synd sorry . I brought some stevia to have on cereal and fruit but at the moment I just cannot give up those 2 sugars, I fully intend to soon and will do this next week so I can prepare for it.

The salad will be plenty for me, I don't eat a lot of the good things - chocolate on the other hand I can eat for England.

I will eat another HEB tomorrow, it will stop me feeling hungry during the afternoon. Thank you .

Also I might add sweet treats - choccy digestives are yummy but have a very expensive syn cost in my opinion. If its worth it to you then great, carry on. Curly wurlys are often quite popular with people on slimming world because they are only 6 syns, so quite a lot of treat for not as many syns. Of course if you are a bit of a biscuit fiend then you might want to carry on :) but if its just a choccy treat you like there might be 'cheaper' options

I'm like denise and try to come on every morning and post that day's menu. I did this morning but my post disappeared so I got cross and didn't manage to come back until now and I've cut and pasted this to be sure. .On the plus side the weather improved so much that I managed to dry a line of washing.

Well done on the loss Sally.:T

I'd agree with the 'not much food' hanert. I'm tempted to sound like an echo of my mother and say 'If you've got room for chocolate biscuits you must have room for your dinner:naughty:'. Your menu (except for yogurt) looks a bit like EESP but definitely not enough Speed food, but you knew that.

Interesting you have basically given up on the cheese Maman, that’s something I could never do although I’m only really eating Cottage Cheese about once a week at the minute.
I do eat cottage cheese and I enjoy it but it's not real cheese IYSWIM. I think part of the reason I haven't gone back to cheese is that I almost never syn extra HEBs so haven't anything to eat it on.

I've got a lovely pair of smart crop trousers from Lands End that have hardly been worn and they look great on.

That's a double whammy for you selement - if you eat something off plan that you like you can at least enjoy it! I love granary bread myself, but I know it's not for everyone. We sell it in the shop and it smells gorgeous when I unpack the delivery in the morning.

Great NSV with the trousers lois. What sort of sandals are you thinking of?

I'm really fed up with my wholemeal bread. I just get the basic stuff and it's almost as boring and tasteless as sliced white. I used to buy Hovis Seed Sensations but had a few bad weeks with Sainsbury's loaves going mildew. I like Ian Rankin Soda Bread but that seems to get dry and stale very quickly. Any recommendations for something tasty? If I'm only having one slice I ought to enjoy it.

My DH likes Ile Flottante denise but it's far too sweet and sloppy for me. That's probably why I don't like yogurt and risotto and my porage has to be thick enough to stand a spoon up. I dont make patties from my LO veg either, just fry it all up often adding in mushrooms and spring onions.

Usual messed about Monday EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L:(at 4 p.m.) sausage tray bake (new potatoes, courgette, garlic, red onion, mushrooms, tomato, peppers) with side of peas/broccoli/asparagus/mange tout
D: snacking from fridge as needed: ham, cold potatoes, beetroot, cottage cheese
    Syns: squirt of syrup

Feeling fat today, hopefully will subside after I've been dancing tonight.

Hi, sorry I didn't post my WI results over the weekend. Feeling a bit disheartened as I've gained another 1lb, SHALA yet have stuck to plan.

Was ill most of last week, kept having dizzy spells. A visit to Dr reveals I've got labyrinthitis . The dizzy spells made it very difficult to exercise but feeling a little better this week and have re-started the Callisthenics.

Off to read back and catch up.

Hope you feel better soon durham mim - I have had labyrinthitis too and it's not pleasant at all. Take care of yourself and hang in there, the losses will come.

I'm really surprised I had a good loss this week, it's -4.5lbs for me please Shala. I had a reasonable week but by no means the best and not all on plan. No sense to it sometimes but I'm happy to finally get my 2st award!

    Hello again

I’ve had a lovely weekend, consuming some extra syns. However, shala, I’m posting -4lbs this week! The weekend will probably come back to haunt me next Monday!

All the usual pats on backs to our losers and big hugs to everyone else.

    Mmmm, selement, granary bread …….

Your day sounds like it was great fun, Saver-upper. The simple things are often the best.

    You’re sounding a bit perkier, lantanna – that’s good.

“Is one Weetabix only half your heb? Why not have the other half later on in a small piece of toast or something?”
Ha ha, selement, I read this as having weetabix in a toast sandwich! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Today’s Menu was

Breakfast: hexb porridge with splash of milk, banana
Lunch: last of Thai carrot & coriander soup (3 syns), WW vanilla yogurt
Dinner: Tomato & mixed pepper pasta
Supper will be: grapes with hexa mini babybel light

    Tuesday’s plan

Breakfast: poached eggs on hexb toast, fruit
Lunch: cold meats, pickles, salad stuff, yogurt
Dinner: pasta Bolognese, tblsp parmesan (1½ syns)
Snacks: crackers (4 syns) & hexa Cheddar, 2 gingernuts (5 syns)

Keep on it, friends. See you tomorrow.

    Hi all :)

Well done JPS, great result again! And well done everyone else.

Maman - not sure about the sandals until I go and have a look. The trousers are cream in colour and quite smart so I might go for a light fabric ballerina rather than a sandal. I have big feet (size 9) so my options are always limited. I seem to manage though, I buy shoes whenever I find some I like that fit and then shop for clothes to go with them!

Shala - the only thing that stops me diving straight into the bread and cakes in the morning is the fact that I've just had breakfast! Just as nice as the smell of bread is the aroma that comes from the scones, which are usually still warm - I could just split one open and sink my teeth in. It's the pasties for DH - when there's some in the fridge the smell hits you when you open the fridge door and it drives him mad.

Sorry to hear you're poorly mim, hope you get better soon.

    Back tomorrow.

    LL :)
