Sounds like you've had a really good day saverupper. Picnic sounds great.
Just wanted to say that chillies freeze really well. I grew my own red chillies last year, chopped them up and froze them. As I only use a tiny bit in a recipe (even DH's can be fussy;)) they last for ages.TakeItEazy wrote: »Keep getting message saying MY message is too short
Will think of you tie.:A0 -
Intertesting you have basically given up on the cheese Maman, that’s something I could never do although I’m only really eating Cottage Cheese about once a week at the minute.
I don’t ever buy Savoury Rice but I hate it when they change things and yes things always end up smaller!
Lol Saverupper at the Cottage Pie, I hated cottage pie when I was a child! I like a BLT salad with SW Chips, that will be back on my list when I return to eating bacon.
Talking of exercise I can’t wait for the day that I can get back to the gym I miss it and all of the health effects its brings so much!
Its all a lot of when I can and waiting for me these days lol
Scan was ok, nothing new to report, the stone has grown that’s really all. I’m getting a little niece in August and I am more interested in hearing how she is growing than my stone to be honest! :rotfl:
Urgh I have tons to do this week, aside from work, need to sort the finances and go through the cupboards and sort them out as well as search the house for two cardigans that seem to have left me – I did however find a pair of size 20 trousers that have managed to lurk about. They’ve been dismissed now and despatched from the building now.

Also on the claw back til thurs, too much bread and low fat carbage over the weekend, typical its these that make me gain weight and it seems to be these at the minute that don't annoy me

TODAY IS A NO BREAD DAY!0 -
Morning all
Horrible weather here, very windy and wet, and poor DH has arranged a game of golf. :rotfl: Shouldn't laugh...!
I've been trying clothes on from the cupboard of clothes that no longer fit, and had a few successes.I've got a lovely pair of smart crop trousers from Lands End that have hardly been worn and they look great on. All I need is some nice sandals and some warm weather. And my shocking pink rain jacket is back in service again.
Awkward... Our temporary house guest offered to grab some bits from the shop and we requested wholemeal bread... He only went and got granary :-( I've always hated 'bits' in my bread and it doesn't count as heb! But also don't wanna be an ungrateful meanie! Frusrating....
That's a double whammy for you selement - if you eat something off plan that you like you can at least enjoy it! I love granary bread myself, but I know it's not for everyone. We sell it in the shop and it smells gorgeous when I unpack the delivery in the morning.TakeItEazy wrote: »Anyone watch 'Born Naughty' on Ch4 last week? The little girl with PDA! Wouldn't be surprised if that's what my 1-1 has. Things are afoot at the moment with him so watch this space!!
I didn't see it, but I think some children are badly behaved because their parents let them get away with it while other children have problems that challenge the best parents and teachers. I've known families with 2 well behaved children and 1 naughty child so it's not always down to bad parenting. I hope something gets sorted out with your problem (work) child.TakeItEazy wrote: »Keep getting message saying MY message is too short
How rude!
Have a good day everyone.

Was totally on plan yesterday although did have more syns than I was going to as DH remembered we'd bought Il Flottant when we were in France last weekend (soft meringue in creme anglais) - was lovely although 5 syns more than I'd orginally planned. Was quite pleased that I'd already synned them and written on the box (had to put them through the syn calculator on line). So ended up with 7.5 syns instead of 2.5!
Today will be EE again:
B - porridge (HEB) made with water; raspberries; strawberries; Mullerlight Goodies (lemon with meringue pieces) 2.5 syns
L - ham salad, couscous, baby corn on the cob, beetroot, cornichons
D - LO roast pork, fried up mash with chopped brussels - bit like bubble & squeak but just done in the pan and not shaped into patties/cakes! and baked beans
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day
Have a nice day everyone - even the weather is carp for the whole country today!

Hello... back from my wild extravagant ways
I'm joining you on the NO bread day lantannaupsetting as it is.. Lois, i don't know how you don't just dive into that delivery if you can smell the bread  it's my weakness!
Well 5 days of naughtiness has certainly dented my weight loss and it's time to get back on it.. Trying a few SP/Red days to minimise damage this week.. starting with red
B - strawberries, quark, choc shot (0.5)
L - egg muffin things, salad (can't actually bear to eat it at the moment though so i may skip it)
T - chilli, potato wedges (heb) cheese (hea) salad - it's the "nacho" recipe out the magazine that Denise did but i can't remember the name.
S - crisps (4.5) milk (hea)

Hi Everyone - am totally rubbish at keeping up with the thread at the moment - I must come up with a system! Thanks for the kind words over my sulkiness at a disappointing loss last week.
Hope everyone is doing okay and congrats to all the losers and hugs to those that need them.
Just wanted to report a -1.5 loss for the challenge thanks Shala. Very happy with that but this week isn't going to be so good...had a gallon of wine Saturday night and way too much to eat yesterday0 -

I usually check in first thing in the morning and have a quick read and post my plan for the day. I also come on at various times during the day if I've got time. Think it helps to get into a routine with checking in otherwise I find there are just too many pages to read!
Your Saturday night sounds just like mine was:eek: Just doing as much damage limitation as possible between now and Thursday morning when I go to group!

Can someone let me know how this sounds please.
HEA - 350ml S/S milk
HEB - 1 Weetabix ( two is too many for me)
Mullerlight yoghurt, Tangerine , grapes
Ham & Mushroom omelette with 2 eggs, no fat needed. 1/2 tspn tom sauce ( approx 1/2 syn?)
Salad: egg, lettuce, cucumber slice,1/2 tomato, fat free Russian Dressing.
May have 2 chocolate digestive if needed later (8 syns)
350ml s/s milk for tea throughout the day, NAS Vimto.
2tspns sugar in first cup of tea of the day (2 syns). I've come down to just this amount of sugar in tea each day - I used to have 3 or 4 spoons in each cup.
Plan to make my own yoghurt but need to sort out how many syns will be in the topping.
Looking at that I realise it's not enough veg, but will have a lot more in the shepherds pie I'm making for tomorrow.

You mention milk twice, are you synning it one of the times?
I dont know about Tangerine but grapes aren't speed food. They are free so do have them if you want them but I usually feel if I'm having fruit I may as well make it speedy as you want 1/3 of food to be speed.
Sugar in tea - I understand you. Have you tried sweeteners? I'm not going to lie, it isn't as nice but it stops you wasting syns on tea. I've switched because I can't have unsweetened tea but want my syns for other things.
Is salad your dinner? Is it enough food for you? Just sounds like not a very big dinner to me. Good healthy choice though!
Omelette is a great choice I love a good omelette :-) nice protein and speed additions.
Is one Weetabix only half your heb? Why not have the other half later on in a small piece of toast or something?
Hope that helps! xTrying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0
