Just had a very ermmm different lunch to the one planned. I accidently left afish in butter sauce out of freezer so thought OH well fish I butter sauce peas and wedges. It wasn't till I came to eat it that I discovered the handful of peas liberally scattered over the fish before microwaving were wait for it Blueberries Though once I got over the shock it wasn't bad at all. Specsavers here I come.

We'll have to start calling you Heston Blumenthal! :rotfl::rotfl:

OH's b'day today so I've made a chocolate cake, he said he wanted a "rich chocolate cake" so I've done a choc cake covered in choc fudge frosting and stacked with oreos and chocolate brownies :eek: I wont post the picture on here in case it drags you all to the dark side. Even the smell of it has put 10lb on me!!!:rotfl: Luckily I don't really like cake so i'll be having a small bit of it, if any at all..:A

I've barely eaten the rest of the day - haven't had time so no idea what weigh in will be like tonight... had 2 toast, a mini c&o roll, 3 brownie bites and 2 cups of tea, i'm hank marvin but I get weighed in an hour so no point eating yet!

Hope you're all doing better than me, some good results I see :T:T

Good evening everyone, I have just got over a bad day today I have had 3 slices of homemade bread ( white too ) naughty naughty !
I have had a very painful right arm, from the elbow up to my shoulder on the
inside from the elbow and then the outside on the top of my shoulder.
It is so painful I can't drive, lift a pan or even a cup.
The doctor said, rest it but do the exercises or it may seize up. Keep it moving , but rest ???? So, if I feel out of sorts I turn to food especially bread. Anyway I will place my Friday 's menu plan and hope I can stick to it.

    Todays Food:
Breakfast - Bacon, mushroom, tomato egg bits (all SP)
Lunch - Buffet food. I have no idea how many syns. I tried to fill on strawberries but definitely ate more synful things than I should!
Dinner - SW Spiced Chicken with baked beans and butternut squash chips (this was yummy!). I may have had 1 and a half wholemeal pittas with it though.... we're a bit loose with the rules, surely it almost counts as a heb? I know it doesn't really though.
I also just ate half a curly wurly.
HEa milk in tea as usual.

    Plan for tomorrow:
    Breakfast: Egg bites
Lunch: Chicken sandwich, muller light, pear, orange (2 syns for margarine in sandwich, bread is HEB)
Dinner: Syn free fish and chips plus mixed veggies.
Snacks: Likely a variety of plum tomatoes, french fries or a curly wurly depending on my mood :P
    HEA milk again.
Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)
  • Eh...what a week. WI did happen on time, but planning has been out the window due to a client's demands using up all my time. With luck I might find my way back on plan. My only saving grace was the SW ready meals from Iceland.
But I doubt that makes up for all the alcohol and chocolate I have been stress reliving with.

I didn't think much of the pulled pork recipe - I didn't add the suggested sweetener. Will tweak it a bit to get a better BBQ kick when I think what might give it that smoky flavour.
Belated reporting a -1lb loss this week, please Shala

Tommorrow is a new day. :A

I add liquid smoke to my pulled pork and I syn some brown sugar instead of the sweetner, it makes it much nicer.

Think I got the liquid smoke off ebay a long time ago for a couple of quid.. it lasts ages though :D no idea whats its made of..
