We never have a buffet at work :(

Prob for the best in my current state :rotfl:

I used to make Nimble Pizza Toasts all the time and have them with a massive salad.

    Must do that again soon

    afternoon all

breakfast: smoothie (spinach, pineapple, banana, 350ml almond milk and 300ml water and 1 scoop protein powder - oh my days it was delish this morning!)
mid morning: cup of tea, lemon and cucumber water
lunch: homemade leek and tattie soup, 1 ryvita (wasn't feeling those today). small salad with a few prawns, hard boiled egg
mid afternoon: I've only just eaten lunch but I may have my pineapple and mango before I finish work...just seen the time its looking unlikely
tea: no idea but it will have to be mince based as we have some in the fridge that needs using. I'm not fancying bolognaise or lasagne etc. I think I may just end up doing some kind of savoury mince type dish. perhaps a cottage pie. salad and veg (peas, sweetcorn) on the side. melon and pineapple to follow.

Bought some massive strawberries reduced in asda so may share a few with wonder bairn :) will be weighin in tomorrow. intrigued to see what the scales say

Shala - I think that was really quite a restrained buffet dive! 5 Pringles and 10 chips!!

I'd have been on the cocktail sausages, sausage rolls and chips and dips ! Its as well I'm not there really!

I've kind of lied to sw online and said I've been back at group - wonder how long it will be before I get evicted lol

I think buffets are the work of the devil but I still love them!;)Generally it's the samosas, spring rolls and chips that call to me but I love those chicken goujons too and prawn vol au vents.

I thought website access is linked to the scales somehow. I know they always warn me access will be denied if I stay away from group for a month or so.

I'm not going to WI tomorrow. I'm out for another meal tomorrow night and although I know I'm still in target I am feeling fat today. Next week looks clearer so hopefully can do some serious catching up.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, scrambled egg, HEA milk for teas
L: hot smoked salmon, fried veg
D: SW spaghetti Bolognese, parmesan (in HEA?)
Syns: none planned but may have a little bit of 70% chocolate later
HEB going begging but have eaten a dried apricot.

    Evening all.

Shala, as usual you do us proud with your chart. Thank you.

Commiserations if you didn’t get the result you’d hoped for and well done if you did!

I’m still sticking to plan, which is just as well as I’m going for a sail on the Maid of the Forth on Saturday and it will involve either lunch before or dinner after. DS, DDiL and DGKs are taking me, DH can’t go as he has a bowling tie. That’s on top of big lunch out with DH on Sunday.

    Thursday’s Plan
Breakfast: LMcC rosemary and red onion sausage (last one), baked beans, hexb toast,
Lunch: Chinese Style Mug Shot , pear (if it’s not still brick hard – I’ve put it in beside the bananas as that sometimes speeds up ripening), WW yogurt
Dinner: salmon with dill & spring onion mash, beetroot, peas & runner beans, 250g rhubarb stewed with sweetener, 2 tblsp Yeo Valley 0% fat crème fraiche (1 syn)
Snacks: lemon cake (7 syns), 2 Ryvita (3 syns) with hexa Philly light & tomatoes

    Syns planned: 10
    Syns in bank: 65

    Today I ate:
No breakfast but 2 slices wholemeal toast at break (heB) (+2 syns for margarine)
Lunch: Tomato Mug Shot, Plum tomatoes, orange, muller light (my lunches are all pretty similar at work)
    Dinner: Bacon and mushroom omelette.
Snacks: ate some more plum tomatoes.

Unfortunately I'm out of sweetener at work so I did have some actual sugar in my tea so a few extra syns there. Other than that doing my best to make up for pizza (and probably samosas tomorrow)! Total syns for day: maybe 6?

I've also made my breakfast bites for the rest of the week. I think I lose weight better when I have these, they are all speed and protein and stop me being so hungry all morning. I usually crave toast at break time but I only let myself have that when I don't have sandwiches in my lunch, but it's easier when I've had breakfast.

I have to admit this doesn't look like much food and I have been hungry. They always say this is bad for weight loss... but it's tough when trying to make up for too many syns :S

My OH always makes a SW pizza and it is delicious.. only 3 1/2 syns!

Is this for one portion? For me a portion is a whole pizza :D so it may be more syns... If you don't mind I'd love the recipe..

Well they opened the nuts this afternoon so I can't say I didn't have a handful :o:eek: but I could have been a lot worse than I was so I guess that's something..

i agree with you maman, buffets are the devil.. Before you know it you've had a quick sausage roll here and a bite of a sandwich there

Anyway weigh in tomorrow then off to the pub for OH's 40th birthday meal. it's going to be a bad one, plus I'm making him a chocolate cake, his relatives are making him a cheesecake and then another buffet on Friday night so I have no chance of losing anything next week at all!!

if I'm not around for the few days its cos of the shame I've bought upon myself :o:p

Hope you don't mind me commenting, You don't look like you snack much so you could bulk out your main meals a bit.. Your tea doesn't look big at all, could you have added some potato type item to it? Wedges, a jacket, chips and a big salad?

You can still have free or speed foods if you're trying to make up for the pizza :D obviously speed foods would be better...

Also you don't mention your hea - do you have it in drinks?

Enjoy your buffet at work tomorrow x
