All the best Beanie, hope to see you back soon, look after yourself x

Saver-upper - if you enjoy class, can afford it and it will help you continue in your journey then go for it :D.. i still go to class each week as well as follow this thread. EESP is like the new Success Express - you don't have to do it, so if you enjoy EE then just stick to EE, its still the main plan..

    EE day for me today
    B - banana, yogurt, granola (3)
L - loaded jacket skins, salad, pickles(part hea)
T - chorizo potatoes, "fried" eggs, roast veg (3)
    S - crisps(4.5) millk (part hea) orange

Using Meg's philosophy of a little bit of meat adding flavour to a vegetable dish tonight, tiny bit of chorizo in a potato hash type affair for tea

    xx
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Shala - the chorizo potatoes sound good! I use a small amount of it when making Spanish Rice - I use 25g in 3-4 portions; plus a small amount ofLO roast chicken. In fact planning on Spanish rice later this week as SC a small chicken - managed to serve 4 yesterday with half the chicken. Have a breast, a leg, wings & small bits left which will do 2 more meals for DH and me.

    Today's plan is EE again:

B - porridge made with water; Muller Light Goodies (lemon) 2.5 syns; grapes & strawberries
L - HM beanburger (which contains onion & carrot); cornichons; beetroot; lettuce & cucumber; FF vinegarette
D - LO roast chicken; baked beans & chips

Will have some pineapple pieces later as well as more strawberries. Strawberries need using up and I'll buy some more tomorrow when I go shopping.

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - porridge

Syns: Goodies yoghurt 2.5; not sure if I'll have anything else but probably not as definitely still reining back the syn loaded weekend!

    Morning all

Pork crackling _pale_ the thought of it makes me feel ill. I've never liked visible fat of any kind, it's a wonder I'm overweight really. I've always dissected bacon to get rid of any traces of fat.

Beanie - come back soon, take care of yourself. (((hugs)))

Selement - if you enjoy going to class, go for it. I do think it's easier to stay on track if the thought of being weighed by someone else makes you think twice about eating something.

Wizkid - 4 whole green beans? Wow! :rotfl:

Reminds me of a pub lunch I had last week. I went for beef goulash with new potatoes and vegetables, which consisted of 3 green beans, 2 mange tout and 1 piece of carrot. Sometimes when we eat out the veg are provided in a separate dish which is often the amount I would eat anyway and they expect you to share it!

Have a good day everyone, onwards and downwards!

You're so right about the vegetables in restaurants lois. It amazes me as it's probably the cheapest part of the meal although I have noticed in gastropub type places lately that beds of mash/celeriac etc seem to be padding out the meat.

If you can afford it and you like the social side then why not go to group saverupper. Even if you did decide on a 6 week Countdown you could achieve loads in those few weeks. You wouldn't need the directory yet as going to group would give you access to syns online. Don't expect to hear much about EESP as it's really a booster programme not meant for everyday use. I think the main changes are in what's not on the Speed list (like cherries, pineapple, mango, kiwi and grapes & bananas). All SP has done for me is made me more conscious of my third Speed and not overdoing the carbs. I just do the odd SP meal or very occasional day but it's not sustainable as a regular way of eating, it's not meant to be.

Messed up Monday here as DH and I don't have time to eat together this evening. Plan is to have main meal about 3 ish and then see how I feel later.

    EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: liver & onions, mash, carrots, cabbage, peas
D: maybe nothing, or snack on beetroot!
    Syns: gravy

Off to portion up SC fill of Bolognese from yesterday. Back soon:)

    Meal plan for today
Skipped breakfast (I only ever have breakfast when I bother to make my egg and bacon breakfast bites, but often I'm lazy and don't make them)
Morning break: Had 2 slices wholemeal toast with margarine (heb and approx 2 syns)
Lunch: tomato and herb mug shot, muller light, orange, pear, pack of Worcester sauce French fries (4.5 syns)
Dinner: OH cooking steak and chips. Not sure of he's making chips out of butternut squash or if having a side of mixed veg I'll leave it up to him :-)
