First day on my new hybrid plan -
breakfast was as instructed by the nutritionist (spinach, banana and choc shot with almond milk in the bullet blender - needs protein powder but it hasn't arrived yet!)
lunch - I felt so full from breakfast I've just powered through and had 6 giant choc buttons and 4 of bf's chips
tea - should be savoury mince with sausages. I'll have 2 sausages (1.5 each as asda reduced fat pork) and 6 for the rest (couple of potato croquettes, gravy)

Also taking my one week break from my tablets...not looking forward to it but I've already put it off for two weeks and now my body hates me so I think that will be making me hold a little extra weight back too

Going to make some soup for work - planning leek and potato possibly leek and sweet potato depending on how long things take

experiencing high stress levels at trying to find a mortgage provider currently now we are in love with a new build :(

That morning shake is the same as hubby has but he has the protein as well as yogurt. He is also adding goji berries and cashews or almonds, counts them out so gets the right amount too :D. Also using strawberries at the moment. He also just has a protein shake of an evening. He has lost half a stone but has other issues so it's slow but has also taken up power walking and uses MFP to log his food and count his steps. I'm not knocking it as he's really motivated at the moment. Hope it works for you too :D.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thanks TIE, I felt full for ages today. Actually when I thought about it early afternoon I was far more aware of being thirsty rather than hungry. I do also need to drink more. Think I may do one of bf's sports bottles with water, lemon and cucumber and chill it overnight then take that to work tomorrow (along with the 750ml bottle of water I have on there daily).

Changed my evening meal tonight and had the two sausages, sweet potato and sweetcorn plus 1tbsp light mayo and a muller light goodies (3.5syn all in)

    Plan for tomorrow:
breakfast: smoothie (spinach, banana, apple and pineapple - doubtful the protein will arrive before I leave for work)
lunch: homemade leek and tattie soup plus 2 ryvita
tea: potentially just me and wonder bairn (unless parents stay) so probably just leftovers - dhansak and boiled rice for me (4syn) and chile and rice for wonder bairn

Thanks, maman, you are always so kind and supportive. :A Everything you say about eating out is right and I always set off in similar fashion to minimise the intention of minimising the risks of sabotaging my week. Last week I started out pretty well, but …. :( Mea culpa.

I agree about the syn bank benefits, and I did that for some time. I actually have no idea why I stopped; maybe I felt I needed a change. This time I KNOW I need to MAKE a change if I am to start losing again.

I’m working with the old EE plan, as it’s all I have proper info for. I don’t know anything about Green days so I don’t know about extra hexs! It wasn’t until you mentioned Green day, that I realised I’d not had any meat/fish!

I thought the veg and fruit were speed foods, but I think I’m confusing them with the old S/SS jargon. The broccoli soup also had loads of onion and some rice in it, if that helps.
I remember a list of speed and protein foods being on page 1 of this thread but I can’t see them, just a wee picture icon.

I will not have my cake tonight as I did have the crumbs from when I was cutting it up (into 20 pieces, as planned). I’ll still count the 7 syns. I’m having an orange with my cheeses tonight.

Please keep scanning my menus, if you can, and picking up on any bits I can improve on.

    Tuesday
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water, splash hexa milk, banana
Lunch: hexa cheese & onion omelette, salad leaves, tomatoes, spring onions, cucumber, ff yogurt & fruit (not bought yet, so don't know what it will be)
Dinner: hm macaroni cheese* (8 syns), beetroot, slice Allinson’s wholemeal bread from 400g loaf (3 syns)

*Had intended to have nice free tuna pasta but my grandson made a special request for this. I don’t make different meals when I have the grandchildren as I think they need to eat the same as the rest of us.

This means I’ll have used 11 syns so I have 4 left. I could have a chocolate digestive for supper, unless you can come up with something that uses no syns at all. Idea! I could have a can of diet coke and another ff yogurt! If I have tea, I need to eat something! Going with the coke -

    Syns planned for Tuesday: 11
    Syns left in bank: 84

Thanks again for support and advice.

Just realised that's another meat free day, so is it Green and what extra hexs can I have, if so?

    Evening everyone

Not had a chance to pop in much today. Absolutely shattered due to very restless night last night and had plenty of stuff to keep me on the go today. Not long in from class and delighted to report a -2.5lbs loss shala - sure this must be influenced by the pee pills even though I haven't been running and apart from that bloomin crackling I have been on plan. Gp has reduced the amount of the meds slightly so we will see how things go. :D

Good to see you back on the team lantanna - put that peanut butter back in the cupboard.

Will have a proper catch up tomorrow hopefully.

Thank you everyone for ideas about joining group.
Well,I decided to go along tonight, and I am glad I did.As mentioned, from looking at various sites over the weekend,I had this idea that SW had scrapped EE,and had a whole new plan.It was only this thread that set me straight, thank you.

I don't buy magazines, but I had raced to the local newsagent on the way to meeting to get a copy of "Best" magazine, which had a £10 off voucher for SW membership.Well, the mag had been replaced with "this weeks" today,so I missed it.Then when I weighed in,it was pointed out that because I was still officially a target member,I only needed to pay £4.95 tonight :j.As long as I can reach target by losing 1 stone 5-and-a-half pound this week,I won't have to pay next week, either :rotfl::rotfl:

Having weighed in tonight,it appears I have lost 4 lb since starting back on the plan last week :j:j:j.I say "appears" because I weighed on my scales last week, and class's tonight, though mine have always been fairly in-sync with group's,so happy to go with that.

    My menu today:
    Breakfast:strawberries and Muller lite,an apple
Lunch:2 mandarins, and cannot remember for the life of me what else, but it was on-plan
    Tea:bacon,eggs,baked beans,plum tomatoes
Also using most of skimmed-milk allowance for cuppas.

Thank you all for the advice and support :)

If you have anything but the newest books, the Green plan should be in there. I don't want to confuse you but if you're having no meat it can help. On Green, having a third of Speed food isn't mandatory (but I still think it helps;)). On Green you can have up to 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs. So tomorrow, up to 30g of cheddar (HEA) in your macaroni cheese and your slice of wholemeal (HEB) can be counted out which frees up some syns for a treat (chocolate digestive?) or to put back in the bank!

There are plenty of alternatives. Do you have books/access to website or are you just working from memory?

Tomorrow you're having lots of Speed food (which is the old Superfree) and might even have more if you buy Speed fruit (so not bananas, grapes, cherries, kiwis, pineapple or mangoes). That's great as I think it's important even on Green. Monday's Speed food was very thin on the ground (just strawberries, broccoli and some onion in your soup).

    HTH.

Some good losses happening this week - well done!

Need to go shopping and get some more fruit but think the only Speed ones will be strawberries and possibly raspberries but DH wants grapes and cherries.

    Another EE day today:

B - toasted bacon, mushroom & brown sauce sandwich
L - ham salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, beetroot, spring onions, cornichons
D - Spanish chicken - rice, onions, chicken, chorizo, peas

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 12.5g chorizo 1.5; butter 2; brown sauce 1 = 4.5

Will have some fruit as well during the day if I need it, although I often don't.

Well spent most of yesterday in hospital having the snip and ended up in Morrisons for my tea. I ordered a salad, they'd ran out, ended up with the New York Chicken, which was better than a pie I suppose. Think I might still report a couple of pounds loss.

    Weigh in tonight!
