  • Hiya everyone

Didn't expect to get SOTW so thanks everyone for the well dones. :j :j Well done all losers and STSers this week, fingers crossed for this week those who've had a gain.

I've not been around much but I'm still here trying to stay on plan although not really managed it the last 4 days I've synned big time. My WI is tomorrow so I've tried to be extra good today - 2 lots of fruit in my porridge and a subway salad for lunch. For tea we're having pasta bolognaise with veg on the side. Not expecting a huge loss this week but even if I STS i'll count that as a bonus :D

Can I have another 14lbs for next challenge please shala? This will be a stretch for me as my weight loss has slowed down but I need to get rid of these lbs for my hols at end of August so I need to push myself.

    Hope everyone is well.
    :)

Hello to you, too, Denise! Thank you.
This is how my sw day has been so far
Breakfast was half a melon and a few strawberries.
Lunch was home made veg soup with some turkey breast to go with it. Was very tasty!
    4 strawberries
Tea will be - stir fried veg with beef strips and oyster sauce & courgette noodles using my spiraliser. Looking forward to that as I'm attempting a SP day today.
Not had my HEX yet today so may have a be free gluten free wholemeal wrap as a pretend pizza with peppers tomatoes and HEA cheese atop! Not sure... Or may have porridge.
I'm struggling with the loo TMI sorry, I've struggled with loo since doing sw and a lady at group on Monday suggested liquorice tea.... They had some peppermint & liquorice tea bags in lidl this morning so I'll try one later. I drink peppermint tea anyway by the bucketload every day normally so I'm hoping this will be quite palatable.

Hope everyone is having a good day! Xx

    Hiya :)

We had the pasta cold with some salad and it was lovely. Dinner was fish pie, based on the hairy bikers recipe, adapted for SW so no white wine. Had my first Jersey Royals of the year with it (yummy) and some chantenay carrots and sugar snap peas.

Talking of wine, DH and I are on day 3 of not drinking. We haven't made a decision about what our plans are going forward, but we're quite enjoying the treats we've had to replace it. I'm thinking we may opt for weekend wine syns, although the weekends are our busiest time so might rethink later in the summer.

We went to see the Second Best Marigold Hotel this afternoon (great film) and shared a bag of Maltesers.

Have a lovely evening, see you tomorrow.

The weeks seems to be coming round very quickly these days! WI this morning for me.

    Will be an EE day:

    B - strawberries; grapes - after WI
L - cold meat; salad with ff vinegarette; beetroot; cornichons
D - gammon; egg; chips; mushrooms; onions

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day
HEB willl either be bread with dinner or maybe some crispbreads with Apericubes (3 for 0.5 syn)

No idea what other syns; will decide later.

We're getting our motorhome back this evening so can get away for the bank holiday weekend - really pleased about that: :j:j:j
Only problem is that the fridge is likely to be mouldy after being left closed for the time it's been at the garage so will definitely need a really good clean when we get back with it!

Back later with result of WI.

    Denise
