Hello! I was directed here last week by Maman & have plucked up courage to ask if I pull up a chair would you mind if I sat quietly in the corner?
I've been doing SW since April last year and got to target in August having lost 2 stone. Lately though I've been floundering with it so have been lurking on here and on Frump to Fab for inspiration. I've been to group tonight and not weighed, just sat in on the new member talk again and stayed for image therapy. Feel motivated. I'm going to weigh myself at chemist tomorrow and hopefully get back on track this week. I'm determined to not have to pay if I sneak out of target range. My clothes still feel loose but my head is saying rein it in.
Today I've had
Smoked mackerel salad for brunch as was up late. In total there's 200g smoked mackerel that I'm having over 2 days (lunch tomoz, too) so that's 4 Syns altogether.
Half a melon
Tea was chicken, mashed carrot, mash sweet& white potatoes green beans & 100ml gravy using granules (1.5? Syns)
Having HEA cheese with HEB ryvita later with sliced gherkins & tomatoes.
Had approx 2.5 litres water.
Walked 2 miles with the dog and husband in glorious sunshine.
Does this look ok? X x
marzipan :hello:

Good Morning
We have April showers this morning and it looks windy0 -
Congratulations to everyone on their losses. Some fantastic losses there for the last week of the challenge.
special congrats for beg - well done on the 7stone achievement.
WI for me tonight but I am expecting a gain as I was away for the weekend to celebrate DH's birthday so lots of eating and drinking, drinking and eating lol. We did a lot of walking but think I may have had to have jogged up and down Ben Nevis in order to negate the food and drink lol.0 -
Lois - I don't do things by halfs do I
BEG - Congrats on your Cert!! That's it now you've officially overtaken me :T
Ok I've had a word with myself. I am going to take each as it comes and try and stop this comfort grazing / all day stuffing to try and make myself feel better.
Starting with today, I have to just get through today and then I can tackle tomorrow
I'm meant to be off to Dublin on Saturday just for one night - undecided if I am going yet but don't want to let down my friend and I do think it might do me good and there is also a cancellation fee. Will decide soon0 -
Morning all
There's an interesting piece in today's Daily Express (I don't buy it, just read the front pages of the customers' papers, lol) about a snack bar called CHORI that apparently helps reduce the risk of diabetes. Just googled it and nothing came up. *shrugs*
I had a quick skim of posts on DH's tablet before going to bed and saw the forum in its new format. His tablet is Android and I viewed the forum on Google Chrome, so maybe it's live on one of those? (Showing my internet ignorance I expect!) I haven't seen the new format on the laptop or the iPad, both of which use Explorer.shala-moo wrote:Oats are meant to be good for bringing down cholesterol Lois.. I remember reading a study on it a while back.. does he like porridge for breakfast instead of bacon?
We have porridge for breakfast quite often, bacon and eggs are usually a lunch option (with some tomatoes in case Maman is worried about the lack of speed food).

Some great losses coming in at the moment. I really need to rein back on the syns today and tomorrow as only have about 10 left - so 5 a day!
Meals are all syn free today:D. It's a Green day, mainly due to lack of Speed foods!
B - 35g Shreddies/milk - HEA/HEB
L - LO rice salad (loads of veg in it) will also have some pickled onions, cornichons & beetroot with it to try an up the Speed foods a bit!
D - mixed bean goulash/rice. Goulash is LO which I frozen a few weeks ago so only needs reheating so a fairly easy dinner tonight with just rice to cook. There are some Speed foods in the goulash including onions, garlic & tomatoes:D.
2nd HEA will be for milk in tea throughout the day. Not sure what I'm having as 2nd HEB but may have some Ryvita this evening with some soft cheese cubes (these are French ones which work out at 3 for 0.5 syn!)

Good morning everyone can someone help me with this question?
Is SKYR Icelandic yoghurt free. It's got reduced sugar FAT free and high in protein. Oh! It's delish. Also Linwoods sesame seeds, sunflower seeds flax seeds and gogi berries. Are they classed as cereal ie B or is it synned.
I would be very grateful if someone knows. Thanks x0
