Weirdly, I've just watched Back In Time for Dinner and apparently there will be meat shortages in the future so insect protein is the new "thing", you guys are ahead of your time! 1/3 of the world eats insects as part of their normal diets _pale_

They made the family on it eat ate worm tarts, cricket kebabs and worm stir fry _pale_

Aah, a conversation with a customer yesterday makes sense now! He was saying something about people eating snails and I thought he meant the French as they've cornered the market on those. He'd obviously seen this programme.

I'd rather become a veggie than eat worms, crickets or snails...!

Shala, think this post got missed from the chart :o

Sorryyyy.. had a bit of a rubbish week at getting people's results didn't i :o:rotfl:

Will update it when i get home :D

Me too Lois on the veggie/insect issue, although they did make some burgers and cookies made of ground up insects and you couldn't tell so i guess if they are "hidden" then we wouldn't know the difference.

Don't think i'll be going to class tonight, but i'll still declare a weigh in on here to what my scales are showing - hmm i wonder if i have the battery running out issue :rotfl: *fingers crossed* ;)

On the insect debate I don't think I could eat worms, crickets etc but I can eat snails, at a push! Not overkeen but not too bad with loads of garlic butter or herb butter - but of course if you eat them like that they're not exactly SW, are they? Haven't eaten any since I've been doing SW - which is coming up for 5 years now!

Put on a lb this week but I'm OK with that as I'm still in the bottom half of target range (1.5lb below actual target).

Going for a Green day today as fancied cauli cheese!

    B - strawberries after WI
L - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB)
    D - cauli cheese (HEA/HEB for sauce + 2 for cornflour)

Other HEA will be for milk in tea throughout the day.

No idea what other syns yet but will make sure I have at least another 3.

Will someone please settle an argument, friendly, that I am having with a friend. She has given me a half pint glass of Smirnoff ice which she is convinced is only 9 syns a bottle. I have looked online and its 9 syns for 275 ml bottle and this is 70cl which is 700mls, so 275 into 700 is approx. 2.5, x 9 x approx. 23 syns. Someone please confirm so she can see it in black and white as she has another two bottles in the fridge :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
