Iphone 5c battery drainage

I have got my phone booked in on Saturday at a Apple store. So will see what they say.0

Can be a sign of water damage too, but not 100% sure.0

Don't think it could be water damage as my son has looked after the phone.0

Seen one of the Apple support team yesterday in store.
He tested the battery and said it was still performing well. Said my phone had a couple of programs which were corrupt and some apps were always checking for location.
He reset my phone again and said hopefully this would sort the problems out.And if not he gave me a phone number and they would do a battery swap within 24 hours.
Last night my phone lost 50% over night so that's an improvement.
Will see how it goes over the next few days.0 -
Sounds like you've been palmed off by a genius0

You shouldn't be losing more than 10% in standby overnight (and even less if you have good signal). If it was me, I'd be making that phone call, something still isn't right.====0 -

Battery was in 100% when I went to bed last night.
Never touched the phone and when I got up this morning the battery was on 32%
When I checked the usage it said 11hrs and 12 minutes on standby and 11 minutes usage.
Think I will give Apple a ring.0 -
Could be a faulty battery .... you may be able to get it fixed under warranty if it was one of a batch of them with issues.
Try putting the number of the phone in on the website and see if it's covered https://www.apple.com/uk/support/iphone5-battery/
I just checked mine. And it is one of those effected pieces.
What do I do now ?
Phone was from EE on 2 years contract which ended last year in November 2014, I then did not renew it and opted for Sim Only deal and kept the phone.
Can I still make them replace it ?0
