I said to Mrs SJ last night that the only time I'd sat down was driving or at the bouncy castle place (which was so rammed it wasn't restful and was like a different kind of hell trying to keep an eye out on a 4yr old amongst a load of bigger kids - she was fine by the waythemadvix said:It sounds like you had a very busy day!!

May I refer you to the new title of your diary....?shangaijimmy said::D
We have 8 days left of year 5 of the dairy, which is astounding. And then whilst we've been mentioning Feb 29th, do we get charged for interest on that day? I presume the answer is yes but I can live in hope...

Me! Not sure what yet. It is my last 29th Feb in the term of our mortgage so seriously considering converting some savings (receiving a miserable return) to a major OP. Have you considered using the number of 29th Febs left in your mortgage as another factor...?shangaijimmy said:Well it they're charging me interest I'm gonna up my leap year factor from x10 to x29...

I would, but I don't pay any interest, sorry - what I *am* going to do is take the "bits and bobs" more seriously - started just now with an online order I just placed at Boots. Thanks Jimmy!shangaijimmy said:Well it they're charging me interest I'm gonna up my leap year factor from x10 to x29...

I'm definitely going for a factor of 29. I reckon we'll have 3 more leap years at most which wouldn't give me a satisfactory OP!Suffolk_lass said:

Quite a busy weekend which just seems to have evaporated before me. I collated my TT pot which was £4.10 and then rounded it up to £5 before OPing it. That keeps my mortgage tidy until interest is applied on the 1st. A ebay sale completed this evening for £47 but it was DS1's stuff so he gets the joy of the cash. However I get the joy of a bundle of 8 items will be leaving the house tomorrow.
On the declutter front Mrs SJ sorted through DDs clothes and we have a large bag for donating to friends, and some underwear for CS bag. I then reorganised some of the storage units to free up some floor space.
Payday is on Tuesday, which means we are edging closer to finishing another month of the dairy challenge and I get to play with my spreadsheet for real, as opposed to imaginary what ifs!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......6 -
Payday arrived today so a few money shuffles done. Payday OP of £45 made and an OP of £125 from money we borrowed from the mortgage OP account 18 months ago towards a new car. Its effectively a car loan off ourselves to ourselves. We have 8 payments left on this one.
We've also had to adjust DDs nursery provision so there's a smallish extra cost for us, so I've jigged the spreadsheet to reflect it.
Ebay item posted and tonight I've listed another bundle of games.
Lastly a nice TT of £1.09!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......7
