Great work on the leapday overpay for those that partook. Suffolk I couldn't follow your formula, but the end figure was immense!
So onto March....started with a workload bang for last 2 days, and 23hrs banked already this week. Therefore not much else done. I'm a touch late with February accounts posting bur will get those posted tomorrow. Work should be quite light tomorrow so I may sort out over a brew if I can catch an empty office for 30mins. If not I'll defo post in the evening whilst watching the football.
On the decluttering front I made a point of throwing something out yesterday, and then today I had to pop home for an hour as DS1 was off sick and we needed some cross over/handover minding time. Anyway he was fine so I made him tidy his room and we blitzed his book shelf for those that he's grown out of. Charity shop run is scheduled now tomorrow when I drive past after school drop offs. After 62 days of removing at least 1 thing per day I am now starting to feel a difference to the house. Lots more to do mind! Well shower and early to bed for a read for me now.
Oh before I go, I did OP our TT pot yesterday and that stood at £4.75. I then made a small TT this morning but so much has happened since then I have absolutely no idea how much it was.

Finally posted my savings total for Feb on the Save12k thread, which totalled £2,422.26. The transformation in finances over the last 5yrs is incredible. Thank you for all the motivation people.
Some comparison data being compiled in the next hour and I'll post some figures.
Decluttering continues. Seriously I urge everyone who feels a little overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that has accumulated in your homes to have a go at this. Start off with 1 item a day, or to spend 15 mins a day on a room/area. I am determined that 2020 will see us reclaim our home, and make it peaceful once more!!!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......8 -
I have donated four bags of posh (designer) former work bags to the local hospice shop this week, together with a long posh frock that is too big and was too long for the occasion I bought it for (I needed to wear flat shoes or break my ankle). Best of all, they are holding them back for a special sales day they are planning and have asked me to go in and register properly for the gift aid. I love giving.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
