Oh I remember the bedtime battles well. I got to the point with DS when I just couldn't cope with the messing around every bedtime anymore (DH worked away during the week and I had two under 2), so DD went to grandma's for 3 nights and I just left DS to grumble himself to sleep. Worked like a charm, saved my sanity and he got much more sleep - win win.

Hope you sort it soon - evenings are precious times x

Perseverance is the key to this battle i think ATB!

Busy day today but constantly on the go so the tired only hit me when i stopped. Picked DS1 up from cricket club at 4.30 then home. Sorted his tea out, then when Mrs SJ came home i nipped out for 30mins with the dog whilst there was a break in the rain. Then loaded DS1 in the car, picked his mate up and dropped off at Cubs. So at 6.40 when i sat down for my tea i realised i was shattered.

I did manage to catch a few minutes of the tennis, but nowhere near as much as i'd hoped for. For a MB update i reckon i'll have made £120 or so from Wimbledon once its all finished.

Mrs SJ is having a pre gym snooze (she's been on a course this week and this morning was up at 5am). So when she heads off to the gym i'll sort the tribe out for bed! Let the 9pm baby battle commence...

Slept tremendously! I'd like to say i feel brand new this morning, but alas no...hayfever is in full flow, grrr... At least the office is like a small bunker and it dries up after 30mins of being in there. Office day planned today to catch up on the last 2 days worth of stuff which has backed up from me being out and about. On my own as well, so i'll get loads done, drink loads of tea and be watching the tennis :shhh:

£1 TT this morning taking the weekly pot to £2.32 so far :j

On checking our current account i'm not sure whats gone wrong as we seem to have 1 weeks worth of cash left, and 2 weeks to go till payday?? So i'll have to investigate further.

Glad you slept better SJ! My brother suffers terribly from hayfever so every year he has a steroid (I think its steroid!) injection in his bottom from the GP which helps him a lot! If you haven't already might be worth you asking your GP about!

Thanks Jessy. I have had the jab before but strangely my GP won't give it to me anymore, despite me working outside most of the time and in fields!

Well I'm back sat in the nursery again for baby SJ to go to sleep. We seem to be making progress as she didn't complain at all when I put her in. In fact I'm certain she said yes when I asked if it was time for bed. Fingers crossed she'll be asleep in the next few minutes.

Tough day catching up in work and I didn't get to watch as much tennis as I'd hoped. However I'm on track and well placed to finish next Wednesday for a week in the caravan. I did get to see what was happening bank account wise and for some reason our child benefit payment hasn't gone in yet and that is the missing money. I put every penny of it into savings for the kids so it's already been shuffled away. Need to keep and eye and make sure it arrives.

No other financials to report so I'll sign off my diary and do some reading of others in the quiet of the nursery!

Baby SJ slept through...:j That's 2 nights running, so tonight she's gonna be a nightmare!! And Mrs SJ is away over night for work

Made a quick 40p TT while making my morning brew so thought i'd log on and post.

Day off today, but got a bit of running around to do. Need to pick dad up from garage after school run whilst his cars gone in for a service. Then later on got to take DS1 to pick up yet another pair of new glasses. I would really love to just sit on the couch, watching tennis all afternoon, snoozing and drinking tea...but i have no chance! I may get an hour of the first game if baby SJ is asleep (may have to time a big dog walk in the hope that she sleeps in the pram)! My intention is for a play centre with her around lunch though.

Right, need to go and get the boys up and dressed for school. They're definitely on the last weeks of the year when they're sleeping longer and ready for the end of year. Especially DS2 who is still only 4 and his foundation stage year is all but done.

Have a great day...weather looks glorious here so fingers crossed as I'm sick of getting poured on at school run! The heavens always seem to time it for 8.40am - 8.50am!
