Thanks frayed knot will give it a whirl. When i say I, really i mean Mrs SJ!!
Another small TT this morning of 6p... go me...!
Started to think about school hols given they are 2 weeks away. In the main our organisation for school hols is very poor as we've always had fantastic support from both sets of grandparents. This year is no different but we're set on having some time ourselves. So we have sorted 5 days in the caravan from the day they finish school. We'll pick the boys up at 3.15 and head straight there. We've then sorted a week from 24th Aug till 1st Sept!
Aiming for them to be non spendy, but we'll see what Mrs SJ's take on that plan is!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Good to see you back0

Thanks TH.
Well £1 TT'd today to boost the pot for the week. Also looks like it'll be another £1 tomorrow.
Tough evening for me though as Mrs SJ is out with her friends so i'm baby sitting all 3 (and yes i still call it baby sitting even though they are my own). In all honesty i'm useless when i've got more than 1 of them... no patience at all, it's actually quite unfair on the kids!
Only 2 things may save me... Firstly i have an Asda pizza all to myself. Secondly baby SJ hasn't had a sleep today so i'm hoping she can done before 10pm so i can put a film on! Though she's currently wide awake and laughing at me!
Oh and i had another NSD today so that's 6 consecutive.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Well baby SJ was asleep for 8.30 so not too bad!
Another weekend without new eBay lists but I have tackled the monster that was the garage, with a few things donated to friends, some donated to charity and some donated to the tip!
Another NSD today, £1 TT'd and the weekly TT pot of £3.38 OP'd. 5 eBay items with bids on for a modest £5 total, but it's a few more items out the house. At the minute grandma SJ seems on a mission and is averaging 1 tshirt/Dress per week for the kids (she can't be told!).
Both DS's bedding has been washed today so off to make beds before sorting out bath & bedtime. Then hoping for a relaxing evening to catch up on diaries!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Glad you had an earliest bed time for baby SJ
did you manage to watch a film?
Your Ebaying (& a few other diaries) has spurred me on so I've just listed three items and put another two on fb selling. Thanks for the motivation!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
I did get a film on eventually but I have to own up to falling asleep through it!
eBay update - 6 items sold for an £8 yield. I may make £1 on postage too.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Long day on a Monday and a Monday currently sat in Baby SJ's room with her refusing to go to sleep! Delicate balance between just walking out though as we can't afford for her rage to wake up the 2 boys! She may well break me this one...! All I want to do is get a shower and get in bed...grr...!
NSD today again (hardly surprising as I literally haven't stopped on my 11hr work day). All 6 eBay items paid for, but not had chance to post, so hoping to do that tomorrow. I did manage a £1 TT to start the weeks pot off, which is always nice.
Oh and I've no done packed lunches yet for tomorrow. So far my evening has been, home from work at 8.20. Had tea at 8.30, put DS1 in bed and then been sat in nursery since 9pm... grrrrr...! Mrs SJ goes the gym when I get in!
Night all.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Does Mrs SJ make your tea for you when you get in
Hope that you got the little one to settle early enough!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
Thankfully Mrs SJ is a fantastic cook, so tea always ready when i get in from a late one! She then puts DS2 in bed while i eat, then she heads out.
Well baby SJ finally passed out at 9.55pm, so after an hour and lasted till 5.30am which is a bonus. I on the otherhand had a shocker. Bad hayfever kick started at about 2am, which brought on my asthma. So at 2.15 i was rooting round in the car for my inhaler (I'd heard it drop out of my pocket in the car). Hayfever tablet had no effect, my nose was like a tap! At 3 am the toilet roll had run out and typically we keep the rolls on the middle floor, so back out of bed and trooping downstairs (again)! At 3.30 i resorted to a cold flannel over my face as the only way to try and get to sleep!
So now this morning i have the after effects of a bad hayfever do, and still with hayfever due to the rain which always makes mine worse. And a sore chest from the asthma. And 3 kids that seem to bouncing off the walls!!
Going to feel like a long day in work today...!
32p TT's this morning by the way.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
