Anyone having experience in being able to use the Supercard with a betting site (William Hill, for example)?
I'm curious if the linked credit card will still consider this as eligible spend for rewards (typically the credit cards don't award spend on cash advances, gambling sites etc).
Maybe you should seek help for your gambling problem than think of ingenious ways to ensure your partner doesn't find out"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

On the subject of currency does anyone know why this site doesn't appear to be working?0

Do not know the new supercard, but the old Supercard is using Visa and not Mastercard exchange rate.
Arguably and also based on MSE research, Mastercard exchange rate is 'marginally' better than Visa in most of the case.0 -

exactly.
I used one last year to withdraw cash in Europe and there were no charges. I was expecting for the new one but it seems their revenue stream could not make ends meet and they've decided to whack a 3% charge at atm's.
won't take it up since now it's no different than my other credit cards.0 -
Me neither. Halifax Clarity beats this now I think, especially if you pay off during the month.0

the interest rate is 18.9% APR on cash withdrawals and starts the moment you take the cash out. So best to pay it off on the day you withdraw the cash.
But I am disappointed the Supercard now charges 2.99% on cash withdrawals, I too won't be taking this out either."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
