Non of the current credit card for abroad are fee free if you want cash from ATM.
That's not what I said. Fee-free zero % f/x credit cards are not just for ATM use, even if they make no charge for ATM use. FWIW I don't use mine in ATMs. Guess what, I don't pay interest. (Of course.)
Revolut is up to 500 per month. Plus I find the rates are only so slightly better than the others. Easy to use via their app.
Again, Revolut is not a credit card. It is a stored value card requiring advance credit to use. That's an extra complication. IME it's easier to use a credit card which is billed later than a stored value card which may or not have enough credit for what I need.
Best to take all of them tbh, I have revolut, Halifax and Travel ex and will use them in that order too.
FWIW I have Travelex Supercard, which I use for purchases, earning points. I currently have 4 fee-free 0% f/x credit cards, 2 of which wouldn't charge for ATM use. That's too many, really, so I'll probably stop a couple of them.

As I said before, Revolut may have its uses but I'd suggest for those with fee-free f/x cards, they are limited.

What credit cards do you have that don't charge fees for withdrawing at ATM and are interest free for ATM withdrawals out of interest?

I understand that Revolut is a pre loaded card and you have to load it up, but due to their fee free nature, I use their card mainly for withdrawal of cash.

I don't use credit cards for cash.
  • I have used this card to pay for ETSA tourist authorisation. The transaction went through on the day, however 2-3 days later Supercard charged me a further 70p to my card for an alleged difference in the £/$ rate between days. I had used the previous test card and never had this issue and so am not inclined to use the card again. I would have been as well to just use the Credit Card the Supercard was linked to without the further cost, in my opinion.

Has anyone else had a similar issue or can explain?

How do they calculate their rates, difficult to find their T+C online

So interest is charged from the day you withdraw or if you don't pay in full at the end of the month?

Yes, its how its the difference between the date of purchase and the settlement date, didn't really happen on the old card that way but there was sometimes a difference between the amount you were expecting and the amount that came out

It's an adjustment of the GBP amount due to the rate variation by the time it's settled, not a 'charge' or cost. If the rate happens to move in your favour they will pay you the relevant difference.

Don't worry about me. MSE has a comprehensive guide. Perhaps you should read it. :)
