yes , if a staff member is a grumpy woman on the phone that insisted the Co reg No was on there ticket (never said a ticket was involved) and fired back the vat status immediately ,0

UKCPS made 46,920 requests to the DVLA for the Y/E 31st December 2014. At £100 a go, that's well over the £81K threshold.0 -
Even if UKCPS are claiming that their charges are damages just for the purpose of VAT , following the relevant VAT memorandum unless UKCPS own the car park then the landowner should be paying VAT on the tickets if UKCPS are allowed to keep the revenue from them .
That is unless one follows the ruling in HMRC v VCS where the charges were contentiously not considered to be consideration for VCS services but damages due to VCS .
But apparently they are not damages according to UKCPS .....
