Why do they target the top couple of boards on the forum mainly?
MSE has done nothing.0 -
Just to play devil's advocate, canters, perhaps MSE are doing something but they can't/won't/aren't telling us users because that would mean posting it on the boards where the spammers can pick up on it.0

Ok, I hope they are.
While they leave it unattended it's not doing any good. Posts are indexed so quickly into Google's search results. MSE is effectively advertising services that are most likely a con, although MSE is not being paid.
If they invest resources and fix it, that indicates Moneysupermarket Group plc might not view the forum as a cost that it would rather be without.0 -

Lots more spam successfully indexed on Google. I won't post more Google searches as it adds more of the wrong words to this website.

There seems to be a new batch this evening.
Perhaps anything with a phone number to country code 91 (India) in the subject could be caught by the filters?0 -

There is even spam that doesn't look like spam.
Totally innocuous and apparently relevant comments turn out to have been identically copied from earlier posts.
It looks more automatic than personal presence. I assume the underlying motive is to build up a presence and eventually start adding links or signature spam
I just reported one username, with a suggestion to check IP address range, as there will probably be other names from the same place.0 -

Droves of new members posting multiple spam messages, too many to record all but some listed above, plus more posted by Fermi on Martin Lewis's apology thread.0
