That's a rather insulting allegation.
Don't you think it is MSE causing the problem by allowing spammers to post? Why did spammers keep coming back for months before Google links were highlighted?
I've posted links partly to demonstrate that MSE benefits potentially from click thrus from Google search to its credit card forum on which it advertises credit offers.
FCA rules for unsolicited promotions - ' We remind firms that are considering sending marketing through electronic media that there are specific legal requirements that they must comply with when doing so. Social media are prime channels for making unsolicited promotions. For such promotions and ‘cold calling’ (unsolicited real-time promotions), we remind firms of the rules that apply.'
