Great news on the house, grandbabies (born or still turning!).
I can categorically state that my kitchen is not beautifully cleaned each week.

WM one load just ready to hang out.
    Kitchen floor swept.
    Aga mat washed.
Some of veg garden dug; oh I hate heavy clay although it is fertile (especially for weeds).
    Bird feeders washed and refilled.
    5 mins on mini trampoline.
    Answered a few emails.
Picked out flower arrangements in lounge, consolidating several into one, removing dead ones. Glanced round lounge as friends we're meeting for lunch may come back after. I have to give Mr N credit for totally flying round the conservatory on Monday while I was with a student.

Shower next then off for lunch - with 25% off voucher of course.

  • Afternoon all! Well a very different day here to yesterday, damp and drizzly! Aye it's grim up't north!

Hoping to be productive this evening as I'm heading away for the weekend with mum so need to pack for that...hopefully I'll find outfits all ready in the wardrobe so I don't have to do any washing, but I'm not sure it's going to happen!

hugs to those in need xxx

CY excellent news re the house; hopefully it'll all be plain sailing from here on.

GP appointment decluttered; I'd not met this GP before, so I sat and shook the whole time.:( She was ok though - has set up my meds repeats so that I can order online for another 6 months before I have to go back again, didn't nag me, and didn't bat an eyelid when Mr LW came in with me. Only slight downer was she mentioned the C-word (Counselling). I was good though - I didn't growl, I just explained politely that I've had more "talking therapies" in one lifetime than anyone should have to endure in three, and that I find them counter-productive, so I don't want to go that route again, thanks.

Flying-wise - I've cleaned ALL the insides of the windows and door-glass, also did the shower screen while I had the vinegar-y rag in my hand. My shoulders were going crunch, scrunch, grind the whole time, but at least I was able to do it without screaming in agony. Cortisone rules!!:rotfl:
