Don't know where the last few days have gone. Monday eve in a fit of BD I thought enough is enough and downloaded 6 (free) kindle books on mindfulness and/or depression. Very Bridget Jones. Slept fairly well. Got on scales yesterday and to my horror was .....heavier than I have ever been in my entire life. But no panics as I have all these books. Spent a happy day, did 5 minutes on the mini-trampoline, did 1 3/4 hrs of feedback to a recent assessee (despite having said my fee includes up to an hour) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Slept ok.
Today did zumba, saw one student. Lunch/kindle/snooze in conservatory. Only fly in the ointment was I found an amazing price for my preferred sachet cappuccino in Stap1es of all places; boxes of 50. Then I found the same but in a big tin - aha I thought, no waste so very green. Ordered 2 huge tins as discount. However when unpacking the box, I found the tins were in fact Americano not Cappuccino. The web site says food & drink can't be returned, so......anyone for :coffee:as I have enough for all of us.?
Went down to the stables and collected up/brushed/threw away loads of clutter; not much left there now.
Finally set up the on line management of premium bond holdings after a phone call with complicated questions, a secret letter with temporary password, logging on and creating a new password with the usual capital/lower case/number/symbol combination which I'll never remember, 5 YES FIVE security questions, choosing a picture AND a phrase which will be revealed when I log on......phew. I must have got into MI5 by now. And all to find when I click to request "paperless" which was the whole point of the exercise, you have to give them a bank number to pay the winnings into. But I always reinvest winnings in more bonds. Seems you can't do both so the whole lot was a waste of time. Gah.
Sorry this in a diary with bits of flying scattered around; must reduce my postings. Promise.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
For Frizzle and Narco, I've found a Pinterest linkie that describes how to do it here:
https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/498281146248110966/
even though the pictures aren't as clear as the original I used. However, I know it's plagiarised from the original, because it's more recent and says to use a Philip$ screwdriver. I used a sturdy skewer and a hammer to make the hole in the lid. I'll see if I can get a better, clearer set of instructions tomorrow. I'm using 1 litre milk cartons because they're all we've got. Anyway, I've got a few of them planted with seeds on the tumble dryer in the cupboard under the front steps which is the closest I've got to a windowsill and I'll report back on whether or not they work.Better is good enough.0 -
Tomorrow I need to make Squeak another GP appointment, collect prescriptions, kick OH into sorting mothers day stuff for his Ma, write down the parents evening dates and times.. yes it would have made sense to do it straight away but I didn't!
Knitted some more of this infernal cardigan.. most irritating pattern, I half wish I'd never started it TBH.
Approved foods order arrived .. mostly.. and put away.. loads of toiletries purchased to fill up my cupboard!

Morning flyladies. Hope all goes well for DS2 bunbun, and enjoy meeting DGS Ionafan.
After gym, bath, dog walking, I'm intending to fly in the bedroom this morning before the paid stuff. This is my list but I don't expect to get it all done, if I do it will be a bonus.

Morning everyone
Didnt have a great nights sleep. DS woke me up and I started fretting about things. Have just made a list of things that need to be dealt with and I must try and tick them all off by the end of the week.
Our living room is starting to look messy. We redecorated and recarpeted 18 months ago and it looked lovely but clutter is slowly starting to find its way back in there. Might tackle that later.
Feel a bit flat this morning, not sure why, maybe a shower and some brekkie will get me moving.0 -
Morning - I feel tired already having read back on the three pages since I posted yesterday morning!
All I achieved yesterday was sorting the pyrex cupboard and shoving the ones I don't need in the dw ready to cb! Oh, and half an hour paper sorting - little and often!
Then I did my helping job at SW - keeps me on my toes or I'd be creeping back up by now. After that it was 5 hours at the museum re-sorting books for the book sales. We have had so many donated over the winter I needed to move everything around! Still work in progress but not much more to do and will be completed next Tuesday.
Really tired after that so we treated ourselves to a steak night and some dvds!!
Today I need to look at the weather forecast and fit in a long walk and a little shopping. Then it's more paperwork! Several half hours needed I fear!
Glad the baby has turned and house buying vibes to CY's family.
Have a good day. xJuly 16 £95/£200

Morning all
Life all a bit chaotic here and today is no better (think I'll be spending about 4 hours in the car driving south, north, east and west giving my DS2 and Mum lifts in totally the opposite directions at one point dropping one going straight across country to get the other, back to the first, drop the second home and then the first home). Flying will be limited
Mrs MP great thta the babe has turned, my first birth was a home one and it was lovely.
Ionafan glad DGC is feeding
Mrs MP warfarin is going ok, moved to antic clinic now, taking her to her first counselling session today
Whoever throught flyladies washed down their entire kitchen every week, dream on! You have done amazing, I'm sticking to my KF as I type.
Right shower and then walking for me this morning. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Just been down the clothes bank with two more bags of my stuff, nipped and got some postage stamps, they are going up by 1p each at he end of the month. DD2 has rung to say she's on her way round but can we go mrT first as lots of men's clothes are reduced. Quickly washed up breakfast stuff will see I've I've got time to hang washing out before she gets here.SPC~12 ot 124
