Oh that is good news Mrs MP
Paid stuff at home today - I was invited to go have lunch in school with my boy - he's been quite excited about it for a week or so. Was quite an eye opener! They definitely don't like to over-cook their veg if you know what I meanspotted more than a couple of kiddies picking the broccoli up and biting, knives where just not getting through  some kiddies were taken into a separate room, out of view of headmaster
and one lady told me it was those that need help with cutlery or have other issues going on. Seems headmaster is of the "clean plate club" yikes!
Needless to say if the littlies decide on packed lunches next term I think I'll let them! Can't really knock the set-up though, it's a huge school and a lot of very small people to cater for in a short space of time. The dinner ladies were on the go constantly.
Anyway. Not much else has happened here, and I've another hours paid stuff to do so I best crack on...Bossymoo

Tackled mils shredding and it's now all done, I have 6 bags of paper on the front already for Friday's collection.
Finished sorting and tidying my clothes and shoes I've just got bags and coats left now. Why I have 4 odd shoes in my wardrobe is baffling me LOL, I have found four pairs for the CS they are lovely but are really uncomfortable so they can go and hopefully find someone they fit.SPC~12 ot 124

Very pleased to hear that your DGC is behaving now, mrs-mp, and that your DD can have the home birth.
My DGS4 finally had a proper feed at 16.30 today so can come home tomorrow. We are driving up to Nottingham in the morning to see the family. Maternal great-grandparents and auntie visited in hospital today. Maternal grandparents will return from holiday at the weekend.
Today I have helped at SW, decluttered 6 bottles of wine as a gift to a friend for a tombola at a charity function, bought tomorrow's lunch while DH took more gifts to the CS, slept for an hour after lunch, and then tidied up the back garden. The lawn needs cutting but is still full of crocuses and so pretty. Cooked tea and now about to go to an extra choir practice, dropping DH off at model railway club.0 -

Evening flypeople. This morning before the paid stuff, I cleaned in the downstairs loo, put the hoover together and whizzed round downstairs with it, walked the dogs and that is it.
Tonight since the paid stuff, I've walked the dogs again, made tea, WUDUPA (for a change) and am now chilling on here.
I'm hoping it stays dry tomorrow as I'd like to get the bedding on the line to dry for a change.
'See' you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hi all
Paid stuff, opticians appointment, more paid stuff, long dog walk, cooked a roast dinner and cleared up, sorted some washing, and now I am sooo tired. However, I am waiting for DS to finish his maths homework so I can hoover the kitchen and utility and swish the floor. It doesnt seem fair to start hoovering when he is doing his homework at the kitchen table!
In the meantime I will swish and swipe some cupboards and flat surfaces. If I stop now I may not get started again.
Good news on the babies. CY hoping the offer is accepted.0 -
I scrubbed the kitchen from top to bottom today - cupboards, walls and woodwork. This is probably normal for all of you fab flyladies but it is a major achievement for me:j I will have a clean and tidy house when the French exchange student arrives next week. I did a bit of tidying in the dining room too.
no flying tomorrow as I will be taking ds2 to hospital to have an op on his carpal tunnel syndrome. He is having both hands done at the same time under general anaesthetic. He will probably have to stay in overnight too.
mrs MP so pleased to hear DD's baby has turned
ionafan enjoy seeing the new baby tomorrow
I am off for an early night as ds2 has to be at the hospital at 7.30 in the morning which means leaving home at 6.30 at the latest:eek:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Well I decided to shift myself. I sorted out some Duplo that DS is taking to beavers for the toy share. Needed to make sure I only had his in the box and none of DDs duplo cakes or disney princess bits in, she still plays with those. Just need to find the lid now.
Also extracted 2 of DD Barbie-type dolls (but not the expensive ones) and brushed their hair and dressed them, also to give away. So basically, I've been playing
Then washed up, got meat out to defrost, folded dry bedding, loaded WM ready for morning and put green bin out.
That's it for me though. Been on the go since 6.30 so a little browse then sleepies.
Night all xBossymoo
