Pigpen, I hope you're ok. I've never had a panic attack before but it sounds awful.
YorkshireLass, right there with you. I feel like a house keeper sometimes...and it's only the two of us, you'd be surprised how much mess can be made!
Packing for London trip with mum tonight, hopefully everything I need is clean so I don't have to do any emergency quick washing!Every act of kindness, no matter how small, isn’t wasted ❤️

I'm on babysitting duty now so I've just taken my little charges round mils to plant the flowers up in her wheelbarrow, then we had a walk round the estate and I showed them the school I work at. We are just about to do homework and reading, takes me back a few years!SPC~12 ot 124

I've managed to do a bit of flying today!
Hoovered upstairs bar DS1's room left the hoover in the doorway to his room, if I could have seen the floor I'd have hoovered it.
Cleaned all mirrors and shower screens plus upstairs windows
Cleaned both toilets
Folded a load of clothes which had previously been stuff in a drawer.
Just going to prepare dinner and then move on to wiping the sides in the bathroom. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Having spent my voucher (and more) on seeds, I've been finishing tidying up the greenhouse ready for the influx of seed trays, de-homed a few snails and been ruthless with old battered pots/trays/covers of various shapes and sizes. Sowed a couple of packets of sweet peas as a start.
This eve I need to organise myself for going to Mum's tomorrow (till Sunday), and for uni next week (happily have got 11hrs of students booked in already after this week's dearth).Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Oh pigpen that sounds dreadful, hope your evening turns out to be less stressful.
Glad you got lots of baby snuggles, Ionafan
I'm on a go slow today. But DS got to the dentist on time (molars on the way apparently) and DDs ears look clear so to keep an eye on her and go back if no improvement. Then to beavers.
Just had a conversation with DS about the food bank and toy bank that we were collecting for "if some children don't have lots of toys, why don't their mum or granny buy them some?" So explained not everyone's mum and gran had enough money for toys, and even food sometimes. Lots of things cost money, lots of bills. Everything. "What? Everything? Even my teddy costs money?" Bless him. Told him yes, we had to buy the teddies, and where does he think pocket money comes from? His answer was priceless and one I shall remember for years to come:
"Well, you of course, you are my moneybank!"
 and so it begins...
Ballet and a bit of shopping tomorrow - and hopefully a peaceful weekend - we are all quite tired.
Which reminds me, dancemum have you had your show yet?Bossymoo

Evening folks.
Today has been a pleasant but busy one. Lounge has been done to a fashion, but everywhere will be spotless for tomorrow morning, as it's DD's 19th birthday, and she's working 10.30 - 7.30pm.
Went to town with both boys after school to get DD some last minute presents. She had most of her gifts last Monday at hair dressing & wedding convention, but got her a few surprises. We've also said we'll help her financially with her first wedding fayre in May.
Tomorrow i'm choosing our room, as DD's birthday, so can't expect her to semi tidy her room first. DD1's is reasonable, DD2's is mid decorating, and our bedding could do with a changeLoving life to the full, just need purse full too
