Exactly. It's surprising the amount of times the word ignorant gets incorrectly used just describe something they don't like. What has happened is people using the word often haven't thought something through which is in fact a much better fit for the word itself!0 -

Yes he has! It may not be the crime of the century, but he has been rude. Basic rules of social behaviour mean that it is rude to completely ignore someone that's talking to you! Surely everyone, even quite young children, knows this, and it is particularly important if you are in a role that involves dealing with customers.0 -

Except that people who live and work in this country ARE ignorant if they can't be bothered to learn the language.
