Whilst he might not have cared that the parcel contained Grai's new shoes and been thinking "So?" it was rude that he didn't reply to her direct question about the other package.
It was also rude that he walked away without even a "thank you". Even if English wasn't his first language, surely someone at the depot would have taught him the bare necessities - hello, sign here, thank you.0
