Bill for Gas and Electric £77 a month told e-on i am moving and been charged £577

Surely if the meter was reading incorrectly its their problem. Why should you pay so much when you had no reason to believe the £77 was incorrect, If its at all out it would only be a few pounds unless you live in Buck Palace.

I do not understand .
Either 1- they have estimated your usage because they haven't read your meter

Or 2- they are reading your meter ( every month is VERY frequent ?!)

Yep that what I told the agent on the phone but they still think they are in the right.

I had to provide them with the reading twice but the meter reader guy comes nearly every month. So I don't know how my bill is £577.

Ok. Did they change from an old fashioned meter to a modern digital meter?

if the meter reader comes every month how come you are getting estimated accounts?
